For maybe one year in the 1990's, Georgia/Georgia Tech played on Thanksgiving morning. I want to say it was a 10:00 start.

LSU basically told A&M

A&M forced yall to do something you didn't want to do, TWICE, and then let the game move to Saturday once we realized our fanbase will never care about yall enough to show up on Thanksgiving

They’re part of the Parsons Mounted Cavalry—a unit in the Corps of Cadets.
It’s comprised of 90 cadets and 50 horses; they’re a big part of game day.

The horses leave an organic trail wherever they go.
Lower ranking cadets scoop up the goods with shovels and toss it into wheelbarrows.
That’s a photo of PMC cadets following the horses on t.u. Game day.
