The date was October 21, 2006. I was actually attending JSU at the time and was on the push-up crew for the Army ROTC battalion we had there. We were the g00bers doing push-ups every time JSU scored a TD in football.

I couldn't watch the game because the Gamecocks were playing Tennessee State at the exact same time. I remember catching the tail end of the game in my truck and listening to Eli Gold describing John Parker Wilson getting sacked on two straight plays.

9 games later, it's hard to believe it's been 10 years since a Tennessee victory in the series.

What year did Tennessee fumble through the endzone? That's my first Alabama bs Tennessee memory.

What an unfortunate play :|

05. Roman Harper hit him just before he got to the end zone, then Croyle hit DJ Hall on 3Rd and long to set up the game-winning FG.

It is, but at the same time it's not, seeing as how since 08 has been Bama's best run ever and UT's worst. At least we're back to having competitive games again, so progress is being made I guess.

Our losing streak to UF is much more appalling. There have been several bad UF teams that we've lost to in that streak.

It's far more likely that Ole Miss will never win 10 RS games or make the SECCG in football ever. Never have so far. At least we've beaten UF/Bama before numerous times.

You should do a thread for the last time Tennessee beat Florida in football.

Correct. Game where your username originated. The SO and I were at that game.

Edit. That was supposed to be a reply to Rocky Stop.

UT fans don't think about the two streaks the same way btw. Very few UT fans think we're "cursed" against Bama, just that they've been way better and they've taken care of business.

UF on the other hand... we should have won probably 4 or 5 of those games and always have found ways not to somehow. 2006, 2012, both of the last 2 years are all examples of that. Also years like 2011 where we may have had a legit chance if Justin Hunter doesn't tear his ACL at the beginning of the game, thereby sabotaging our offense. And sometimes it's the little things that convince UT fans. Like the fact that we kept on giving up 4th downs. Felt like some higher power was determined to not let UF lose, when one play could have ended it multiple times. Also the way the field goal missed by a millimeter to the right. That ball was starting to curve in, then at the last second decided not to. If a higher power was controlling that game, they are a sadistic trolling prick. Although I accepted defeat once 4th and 14 occurred anyway; I knew we wouldn't score.

Wtf?!?! Deflecting has been ALL Ole Miss fans have been doing for the past 2 weeks. But if you really want me to, I'll comment directly to your statement.
