If Lane would have went to Florida instead of LSU, you would be kissing his arse. go enjoy your new coach. maybe he can bring Florida a winning team. they have been irrelevant for a decade.

To be fair, it had appeared that Lane had changed, at least on the surface....although, the 2022 situation with Auburn was a big red flag. He got sober in Oxford....the whole "I needed Oxford more than Oxford needed me" nonsense.
When it became obvious that he was leaving, he could not have handled it any worse...and didn't give a damn.
The old saying "a leopard never changes it spots" applies for sure with Lane....he is all about himself.

Btw. Top five States in violent crime rates by percentages; Louisiana...Top 5 in theft, Louisiana, Top 5 in violent crimes, Top five in worst high school and middle school education, yours. LSU is also ranked the 13th in the SEC for academic rankings..btw, that is not good at all.
So the "University" just caters to its audience.
Louisiana isn't my state.

Oh man, I forgot about the letter. I remember when Saban brought him on staff at Alabama and EVERYBODY had a comment about it how questionable it was for Saban to even give the guy a 2nd chance. Dude literally owes his entire reputation to Saban rehabilitating him to the point he wasn’t viewed as nuclear, because nobody wanted the guy when Saban let him come on board at Bama.
And yeah, he really does have some proclivities and was let go for a reason eventually. I have an affinity for certain aspects about him and he can be really funny, but to me he is too much of a liability to any program who wants to be taken seriously. And that is why Alabama never even considered the dude when Saban stepped down, as much as LK wanted the HC job at Bama.
Ultimately, LK has just shown that he really is a pro at self-sabotage. I really thought he had some growth especially at OM, but the way he handled stuff last year kinda re enforced to me that he is who he is. I wish him well, and hope he can genuinely improve character and whatnot, but at a certain point people are set in their ways and idk how much true change can occur.
