LSU lost 4 DL.....rotated 8DL ( all started at one point this year) Not that big of a loss. LSU d was horrible this year due to the F'n retarded Co-DCs. QB play that turned the ball over to much leaving the D on the field way to much.

Alabama really lit Tennessee up with Chavis as DC in from 1992-2006. Just scorched them .Especially in 1999,2000 and 2005.

no doubt yall got his d good the last 2 years but i think that has alot to do with fat phil and his o not helping ut out at all. plus anything over what we had last year will be an improvement.
I just don't see all our talent going to waste again with us going 7-5 this year.
we upgraded at qb thanks to ole miss and we up graded our whole d staff. brick haley is a hell of a coach for our dline which is stacked even when losing players. chavis is strong with our weak spot in line backers and cooper is a good db coach. also our dbs are a year older so we should be fine on d this year.
also Les does fix things after they go wrong the year before

I dont see him ever living up to what he was suppose to be. the bar was set really high though. I think he can be a good player just never make aa team.

i hope so. maybe ron cooper can set him straight. patrick peterson has one cb spot locked down so hawkins and eugene will have to battle for the other starting spot.

hawkins made more big plays but id rather jai on the field. hawkins seemed to be burned a hell of alot.

yea i dont think this one can be saved. its time to pull the plug on him. some have came in guns blazing before and failed but turned it around. I just dont see it happening with him.

The "Saban Effect" almost wore off of LSU after the 2007 season. Miles was almost totally on his own then. This year, he will be flying solo. We'll see what he can do.
