They've been spreading these Gadsen rumors for three years, it's BS. They're also spreading rumors that the AD at VT (for some weird, funkadelic reason) has told the AU people that Bama is about to get MULTIPLE PLOIs (as if more than one is needed). Of course, some Bama people contacted the VT Athletic Dept. and they said the barners were full of shite. (I'm sure they would want to start trouble when we play them the opening game).A friend of mine from another board:

I grew up in Gadsden. My grandad was a businessman there for over 35 years. I know TONS of people still living there.

A certain lawyer's name was posted on ITAT with some derogatory statements and allegations made about him and his law firm. This lawyer has now purchased a monthly subscription to the website and is monitoring it. Scout has been informed of what is going on at that board. Its gonna be interesting to see how this pans out. Needless to say, laughter was the reaction when I told him about the accusations. Crazy how people think there is soo much money in Gadsden to think even a lawyer has enough "extra" cash to give to high school football players and buy cars.

This goes along with what I heard from Va Tech's AD today. Apparently, the barner who posted he "talked" with someone at his AD office and they were discussing "multiple letters" being sent to Bama. Well, surprise, surprise, Va Tech does not have any information on Alabama and the NCAA cannot and would not send any information to another school. So, it turns out, the barner was a liar. No surprise there.

The bottom line is this, AU is getting their asses handed to them by Saban and Bama. They know they cannot stop it on the field so they're trying to stop it by lies. In what was SUPPOSED to be another down year before Sabans teams really took off (a season where barners were predicting another 6-6 season for Bama and a SECW title for AU) Bama went 12-2 and beat the shite out of them 36-0 prompting them to fire their coach. Then Bama arse-reamed them in recruiting AGAIN. They see Bama domination for as far as the eye can see and they're desperate. Too bad boys.
