Just got home from the Houston Regional. I can't describe how great it felt to come back down 6-0 and again down 1 vs Rice. Then to follow that up with a win over tu to force game 7. Tyler pitched a hell of a game.

Bet that was an awesome feeling, hell of a day to be an Aggie. Hopefully y'all can seal the deal tomorrow.

Brackets & schedules in OPs have been updated. Good luck to the 4 teams tomorrow battling in elimination games & OM to seal the deal in their regional.

Arkansas sucks at everything

Congrats Aggies. No Texas fans like to see the Horns Down sign, but its an indication of the significance of the victory - the hate lives on. Let see if you can win 2 of 3.

The main question is how the frick did Jackson State shut their hitting down? I guess they just got hot today.

I never understood why you guys were so sensitive about the horns down thing.

We got beat by probably the best team in the country.
Virginia is legit and may have a pitcher better than Nola.
Considering we lost our entire weekend rotation from a year ago but still managed to win 40 games and make an NCAA regional for the 13th consecutive year, I'd say our baseball program is looking okay.

Who is State starting against ULL? Johnny whole staff?

UVA would be my pick to take it all right now. They're very impressive

They're really good. They don't make mistakes and make you pay every time you make one.
Their lefty ace is legit. 92-94 fastball with nasty off speed stuff.
They're #1 in most polls for a reason. Maryland beat them in the ACC tourney, so their Super should be exciting.

quote:Lingren was a starter until injuries got him out of the rotation last year and then he seemed to have the come out of the bullpen mentality rather than a starter's mentality. If he can start, and only Butch and John can know that, I would hope we would start him. He is the only chance I think against these ULL hitters. He can touch 96 and come right back with an 84 change up. His curve is as good as it gets.

ULL is #1 in most polls.. I didn't see a single one with UVA as the #1team.

I don't think they will wait that long
I think it's a good move bc if Laster can give us 4-5 innings it takes some pressure off Lindgren.. However if they get a couple runner s on in the first, I could see Cohen going to Lindgren then..
Either way, Lindgren can't throw a complete game and holder probably can't throw much more than an inning. Somebody is going to have to step up and give us a few quality innings

UVA was pre season #1 and ranked there for damn near all season. Flipping back and forth with Oregon State.
ULL snuck in the last week because UVA and Oregon State lost in their conference tourney.
ULL hasn't played a tough enough schedule to be a legit #1 IMO.

I agree with you that ULL isn't the best team in the country, but I was just pointing out that your statement was not true.
