Hey, whatever you need to say to make yourself feel better.

Anyone with a brain knows it's 1995 Nebraska, so anyone claiming otherwise is either an idiot or posting clickbait for traffic and followers. In some cases, both.

If you don't understand that is the basic formula for all of sports writing, then that's your problem.

It's a subjective argument, the fact you're calling people who disagree with your position names, shows how emotional and closedminded you are.

2019 LSU would beat that one dimensional 1995 Neb team by 30. Florida was caught flat footed against an unfamiliar scheme.

LSU fans are FAR from the only ones saying it’s the best team ever, or at least up at the very top.

Outside clickbait, yes you are.

Or maybe it’s Alabama fans who can’t handle every bring not being about them all the time. Our 2019 season has NOTHING to do with you outside the one game we played you.

1995 Nebraska is the GOAT.

it’s a legitimate title, putting that season in even remotely the same class as some of the best every is farcical for reasons we’ve already discussed. And Alabama fans who were so torn up inside over 2019 and not being the center of attention embarrass themselves when they try to claim it is.

Hard to watch

If you want to compare 2019 LSU to 1995 Nebraska, 2020 Alabama 100% belongs in the conversation.

Personally, I don't think 2019 LSU or 2020 Alabama really belong int he conversation. Alabama only beat Florida by 6, so that rules them out. And LSU had wins of 3, 5 and 7, so they for damn sure don't belong.

If you played by 1995 rules, LSU would be talking about how it wasn't a legitimate season because half your team would out by the 2nd half.

You can't compare teams this way. You can only look at how they do in relation to their opponents and other teams that year. And to do that you need a qualifying strength of schedule(not an issue here for anyone being talked about) and then you need to look at how they dominated those other teams.

And LSU had wins by 3, 5 and 7. That rules them out.

It's not subjective. If you are going to consider yourself the GOAT, then you can't be barely beating teams you played against in the same year.

Are we to assume that the next best teams are 2019 Alabama, Auburn and Texas? Because they were able to hang with LSU. Hell no. And yet, we are to consider this same team the GOAT?

It's nonsense.

If you are the GOAT, then you will be dominating the competition. Not wins of 3, 5 and 7.

LSU played 3 more games than that team. Including a conf title game.

This fact alone tells me that you are 15 years old.

Your ignorance and bias on the topic doesn't make it subjective.

We have actual data and stats to base it on.

Well, next year the team that wins the national championship will play 17 games.

So either 2 things are possible. They will automatically become the GOAT, or your metrics are stupid and don't really indicate a damn thing.

@ calling me 15.

I use the same metrics equally among all teams objectively. I ruled out Alabama for the exact same reasons I did LSU.

The GOAT discussion only started for LSU fans in 2019, but it's been around for a lot longer. The only thing I'm glad about in the entire thing is I no longer have to hear stupid arguments about how it's Miami based on the number of people they had drafted.

The metrics you deem to be important are subjective to you.

Much like you insist rankings at the time of the game are useless, that's subjective. It's simply your opinion.

Hey Rainman...there are SIX pages of discussion on this thread! Intelligent people are talking. Take your meds and go to bed.

Game of time rankings are not an accurate rating, thus is makes no sense to use them.

If you have a better argument for why you shouldn't use final rankings, then make it. But again, your refusal and ignorance on the topic is not my problem. I'm going to continue to use the best and most accurate stats as I can.

By your definition of subjective, everything in the universe is subjective since perception is a crucial component for reality. Just more nonsense.

We've accomplished alot since the last time Bama has moron.... 2 National Championships. And why are you ball-licking and taking up for this Florida fan? I said nothing bad about Bama in this thread.
