Of course you would had you won wouldn't have, the whole point of it is you did not deserve to be there because you lost and we won. We did not play you guys and won our conference just to get to play Alabama again. That was B.S and all bama fans knows it but they'll take it because like the dead bear say "I don't care if the Chinese Laundromat crown us national champions, we'll take it!"

Now if they were NOT scared they would have played us again for that trophy One month later but nope they didn't want to because they knew they were going to get it back 10x as bad.

Absolutely. As far as most were concerned, 11/3 was the NC, and the rest would be a victory march for either team. Wanting to play Alabama again would be like asking the team that just won the BCSNCG if they want a double or nothing rematch. LSU got out of T-Town somehow with a victory, of course they didn't want to play the only team worth a damn again. I wouldn't say it was fear, but rather that knowing Bama could win, while OSU would have meant 14-0.

This is blowhard prattle and total B.S. with hindsight in view and virtually no chance of playing LSU again this year. Total message board bravado.

This is real easy to say when there is actually no rematch.
Yeah we would love to play the steelers and not be pussies like the rest of college football. See how easy this is?

First off, Alabama fans are delusional AS THE frick.

Secondly, YOU didn't welcome shite. You aren't on the team. So saying "WE" welcome the challenge is asinine. ALABAMA (NOT YOU) backed their way into the NC game. YOU (the fans, not associated with the team) would have been happy to fricking play the Ravens as long as you got to play in the BCSNCG.

Of all the petty stupidity we argue about, "which fanbase is more scared to play the toughest team in the title game?" is among the craziest.

I am not a Bama fan because I think our fans are the best (thank God). I wouldn't want to be an LSU supporter based on many of their fans either. Both teams are incredible, but they attract too many knobhead fans.

Bama fan 2011 - "LSU fans are scared because they know OSU is an automatic win, and they know Bama's a tougher challange"

Bama fan 2012 - "I think we match up with Notre Dame better than Oregon."

End of the season, Oregon and Notre Dame each have 1 loss. Who do you want in Miami? (This is if Bama wins in ATL)

At this point, given the past couple of weeks, I just want Bama to make it to the damn thing, regardless of who they play. I used a lot of commas.

Bama wants nothing to do with lsu again. They are getting back healthy players and are improving. Plus they are angry for letting the MNC slip away at the end of that game.

I personally thought OSU was more deserving based on the circumstances and simply did not think it was right that LSU would have to beat Bama twice in one season...and given that there was a "legitimate alternative" on the table - Oklahoma state - why go with the rematch? (OSU had the same record, faced a tougher schedule, and won their conference)

It just so happens that Oklahoma state probably wouldn't have been as competitive as Bama....that said we have no way of knowing that for sure...we will never know if OSU was indeed better than LSU:Bama or not.

Bama has little dictator syndrome again one week after letting a SEC rookie team beat their asses. UGA is so gonna beat that arse. Newsflash, the honey boo boos are better than bevo's former little brother.
