Still pissed about that call. Total shite.

I'm burned by it too. Especially in this era where so many point out the inconsistencies in officiating that seem to always favor blue bloods, star players, and what's best for TV.

Samford coming back from down 22 to have a potential last second shot after that block could have been the highlight of the entire tournament. It's best for fans! But it wasn't best for money in the long run, so there's no way of reversing that call.

I don't believe the ref in that quick of a moment knew to call the foul to sway the game towards Kansas. However, I do believe the NCAA could implement rules and procedures to help alleviate officiating mistakes. They just choose not to.

I would like to extend an offer of membership to the Oklahoma Sooners. Welcome to the SEC.

Of course it wasn’t intentional to protect KU. It was a bad foul call that happens a lot where the ref anticipates a foul rather than seeing one. It sucks that it happened and it was a bad call, but it wasn’t nefarious.

Kudos to Samford for how hard they played and to Bucky for completely outclassing Self. Bucky is a rising star.

No it’s a conspiracy

Hundreds of people have developed a scheme where refs know exactly where to insert game changing calls in real time using future vision. They do this to keep capitalism on the up and up

That’s odd. I could’ve swore a loss doesn’t result in advancing to the second round which is what we are doing.

I’m so sorry that this happened.

We need to do better as a society so we can move forward from these grave injustices. We can no longer ignore the cries. Communities are hurting. Enough is enough and it’s time to start a conversation.

For the people in pain who are voicing all their hurt; I promise you. I hear you.

It's ok for people to talk about this play. You don't have to try to sweep it away.

Tired of the excuse that judgement calls aren’t reviewable because they are judgement calls.

At the cost of a “refundable” time out, have the judgement making official “review” his own call for accuracy.

No conspiracy just multiple bad calls and no calls in the game due to inferior referees.
The ref call a fouled on a similar play in the first half in which there was a clean block. They also overlooked several offensive fouls committed by Kansas. There was a missed elbow by the Kansas player just before he threw the ball to the break away player who was "fouled" on the attempted dunk.
