Its not like any of them were drafted. They asked for the job.

Its perfectly reasonable to expect they don't suck at the job.

I do believe ALL conferences protect teams that have a shot at the playoffs which needs to be fixed.

This is a dumb argument with the 12 team playoff because the likelihood of multiple SEC teams getting in now is high.

Forget whether it was a block in the back.

Based on the second point by the OP, it should have been Bama's ball where the player touched it. He was a passive player pushed into the ball. By rule, it isn't a fumble, but it's not a penalty. And it should have been reviewable.

win is a win, especially in this age of college football. Just win and advance, get into the playoffs while trying to remain as healthy as possible. College is basically the NFL now.

I've never seen winning team cry so much.

And it wasn't a block so he couldn't have been blocked into the ball. He was stupid for being that close anyway.

Take your win and your tears and shove both of them....

Auburn lost a game because of officials. We very well could have.
Buddy the only reason you picked up the second to last score was a third down run by your quarterback where 77 locked on the defender literally until the quarterback was 5 yards past. The defender was flailing his arms in the air as he was held, literally rushing smack dab in the middle of the play. No flag.

On what play in a football game is there actually someone considered a "passive player" is that a made up term?

I was gonna call this out last night but didn’t want to be accused of whining. Bama won so I was just gonna let it go. It was so obvious though and almost cost Bama a game. It’s time for the SEC to do something about this shite. It’s terrible and embarrassing. It’s been going on for far to long too.

Another d.a. that doesn’t even understand the game he’s watching. Blocking in the back can be an offensive or defensive player.

Blocking

ARTICLE 1.

Blocking is obstructing an opponent by intentionally contacting him with any part of the blocker’s body.

Pushing is blocking an opponent with open hands.

Block in the Back

ARTICLE 4.

A block in the back is contact against an opponent occurring when the force of the initial contact is from behind and above the waist. When in question, the contact is at or below below the waist (see Clipping, Rule 2-5) (Rule 9-3-6) (A.R. 9-3-3-I-VII and A.R. 10-2-2-XII).

The position of the blocker’s head or feet does not necessarily indicate the point of initial contact.

It’s pretty easy, you push the guy in the back to get him out of your way.

I can’t remember if it was Arky/Auburn or OM/Okie but that very penalty was called and one of them earlier in the day.

Watch the clip. The contact is initiated from the side and the bama guy turns his back to the SC player. That's a 100% LEGAL play and you guys are a bunch of CRYBABIES.

The rule you posted says it clearly.

No, the point is you're an ungrateful winner.

But, Honestly, I'd expect nothing less from Bama fans. How can fans of a team that wins so much be total losers?
