Everything you are about to read does not apply to ekg, he is very special and is not like everyone else...

LSU was playing A&M in the final regular season game of 2015. It was known that miles would be fired after the game. Well LSU won (again) and miles was retained.

The following year Miles was fired after a disappointing start to the season and Ed Orgeron was named the interim head coach. After a coaching search that involved Jimbo Fisher, Tom Herman, and a few others, Ed Orgeron was named the full time head coach. Texas stole Herman at the last second, and jimbo wanted $75 million guaranteed (too much considering his Florida state program at the time)

Everyone laughed at LSU, they called LSU poors and other derogatory comments. Supposedly LSU would be relegated to infinite ineptitude while Texas and A&M would become powerhouses.

Fast forward to today, LSU is 8-3 vs top ten teams under Orgeron, LSU has the number 1 team in the country, and has the number one recruiting class in the country.

In retrospect, thank you A&M and Texas. Sincerely, all of LSU.

*Scott Woodward leaves A&M to take same job at LSU*

Yeah we’ll see if Ed can sustain this season’s success, but so far seems like you stumbled into the decidedly better end of that deal.

Lol, nice troll attempt

Tell me again barn, what is Orgeron’s record vs Gus?

But that’s all luck right? Lol

That isn’t true.

Go search any post I’ve ever made about Orgeron.
I’ve always said he’s an extremely underrated coach and that when given the ideal opportunity (e.g., LSU), he’d shine.
I defended him when your fans had titty baby tantrums about the guy.

I’m genuinely happy for the success your fanbase is experiencing; but I’ll be darned if I’m accused of something that didn’t happen .

See y’all in a few weeks.

You should also add an asterisk at the bottom to remind folks of Scott Woodward escaping College Station.

He’s beaten three top ten teams this year (Texas was top ten)

I would consider that sustaining success.

Well the coaching carousel landed us Chad Morris so not every story has a happy ending.

It is a spin of the Roulette wheel when you go shopping for a new coach. Sometimes you hit the jackpot and sometimes you go bust.

Why?
We supported that too.
It was only a matter of time.
If there’s any group of fans who understands the pull of home, it’s Aggies.

The victim mentality is strong with some of y’all.

He’s talking about finishing out a season and moving on the next with new personnel, staff, etc.

By the way, alot of LSU fans will disagree - LSU was extremely talented when Orgeron took over.

I said “this season’s success”, meaning can he sustain it over multiple seasons when he loses coordinators, Burrow gets drafted, things like that.

That’s not what happened. At all.

But I can appreciate your attempts at revisionist troll.

You supported your athletic director (who had made some of the most important hires in your school’s history) leaving your school to take the same job at another school in the same division?

How is that victim mentality?
Are you just saying random shite hoping it sticks?

Ok, well I was reflecting on that which is known. We can only assess on that we can reflect upon. Everything else is speculation. But yes, he needs to maintain it.
