Nice win TAMU, but dayum, TIAA Stadium only holds 67k, so that's gotta be like 30k total attendance.

Jacksonville is actually a pretty cool place. Wonder why people say it sucks?

Paid Attendance: 38,206
Actual Attendance: maybe 30K

Sad, obviously no local fans bothered to go. Which used to be the case.

You would think if they had any real fans they would go to support the team under it's first year coach ...

Jacksonville has a nice beach. Not Gulf of Mexico nice but that's where'd I live if I lived in Jax and I use to.

You stay in Amelia Island or St. Augustine not Jax.

Jax area has great beaches and St Augustine is the place to stay...they are having their festival of lights now and its an historic town...a older lotta buildings and bed & breakfasts built in the 1800s. Carriage rides through the historic areas and open parks with music.

I would guess that the number of fans that travelled was in line with other mid tier bowls. Probably not going to get many neutral local attendees for a relatively meaningless game that ends late on the night of December 31.

It was played in Jacksonville.....correct? I lived in Florida for several years and have traveled all over the state. I found Jacksonville to be one of the more desirable cities.

Unless you have a penchant for STDs....then head for South Beach.
