I agree with this. Right now, LSU's almost as heavy a favorite over Texas as OU is and LSU is playing them AT Austin.

Texas has the fewest returning production players among all Power 5 conference schools. Their "we're back!" mantra really means they're back from the 7-11 store right now.

The Cows of Texas are underdogs in 5 of their 12 games....their chances of winning against...

Louisiana Tech -- 91%
LSU -- 26%
Rice -- 98%
Oklahoma St. -- 67%
West Virginia -- 65%
Oklahoma -- 24%
Kansas -- 94%
TCU -- 49%
Kansas St. -- 83%
Iowa St.-- 41%
Baylor -- 47%
Texas Tech -- 72%

Tiger fans, I think you've got this first one. Just don't go into that game with the non-interested, deflated attitude that Georgia did in the Sugar Bowl. If you do, you'll get beat.

only exists because we sleepwalked through the sugar bowl in a game we didn't want to be in that they were fired up to be in.

Do you even SEC football? Besides the wisconsin loss. Name me a regular season top 10 match up out of conference LSU has lost in the last 20 years?

Damn, that scares you to death.

Will just have to continue to enjoy the arse kicking they gave Georgia until the season starts.

Is this like every other opener because they don’t. They dropped one against Wisconsin. Typical Missouri fan that doesn’t know shite.

I mean, UGA was a 28-point favorite. WTH! Our players definitely weren't excited about the Sugar Bowl. I saw and read all the stories that PRECEDED the game warning everybody about it, too. I saw comments made by a couple of Texas players AFTER THE GAME saying they were surprised and shocked at our lack of intensity, etc. One said he saw it in their eyes when they first took the field, saying UGA just didn't have any fire at all, etc.

Not to mention the players who opted out for the draft and the fanbase that wasn't interested, well, it's understandable that we would lose. The whole sour attitude permeated all over that team and it was embarrassing for all of us, the school, and the program.

But, that's what happens when you go into a game like that...you get beat.

Kirby won't let it happen again.

Yeah, it’s strange that UTex is picked by many as a top 10 team, yet the predictions in the OP have ‘em losing 5 games.
Kinda tough to reconcile that.
It should be a great game, regardless.

That is the weakest schedule I've ever seen. If it was like that last year, then no wonder they were rested when they played Georgia.

"We're back" from beating USC & GA.. because that's what this thread is really about.

And somehow they were able to beat the dawgs as an even bigger underdog. But wait, I forgot, Georgia mailed it in,

History shows we typically win these games.
