I never really thought of it as offensive to ya'll. Kinda just equated bammer and barner. I've got no problem being called a barner.

Colonial bank ceased to exist long before Cam was being recruited.

This is true, but what about the players that were being recruited during the wire-tap era? If there was anything going on and being talked about over the phone by MM, PD, or Lowder, during that timeframe about paying players, the FBI has the goods. Cam might not be involved at all.

I said "if", and it is a big "if".

The two things I stated are not mutually inclusive. I just meant that when someone has "facts" about an on-going FBI investigation, then they are probably lying since it is highly illegal for anyone to leak that information.

I am sure all of the people leaking info about the FBI investigations don't care about the breaking federal laws either.

This. It was in the back of my mind when reading some of the articles. Can't the FBI turn around and go after the writers with interfering with an investigation or obstruction of justice?

I think, in addition to the gambling legislation bribe case, there is an ongoing investigation into the collapse of Colonial Bank

Correct the wire taps that my source spoke of were affiliated with the Colonial Bank probe. He said nothing of the gambling bribery case.

He said the thing that was really darkening the conversations is that AU the institution, people who work for AU, were identified in the conversations on the wire taps

What if a person is a witness to what happened and there is no gag order. Would that be a crime to talk about what they saw and/or heard? What about the people repeating or reporting it from an eye witness?

why are aubies called boogs?

This is BS. There is nothing to this "Camgate" in my opinion. Its nothing but wishful thinking. No one would be that stupid as to ask for $200,000 to play. I just hope the kid goes to the NFL in 2011 along with Mallett, Jones and Ingram.

I wish someone would tell us what the "package" consisted of. A lot of SEC teams are going to be needing QB's in the near future and need to know what the starting salary rannge is.

Dont have any new facts, but i have a few doctor friends/auburn fans and boosters,
who i recently saw at a conference. All they would say is, they are very worried about the future of Au football.

I have no idea. Honestly, I feel comfortable that the wiretaps do not contain any info at all on Cam. It is just fun for message board/talk show conspiracy theorists.

Auburn has a Medical School?

Sure it's not Drs from the Vet School?
