A lot of those “GOP” votes were probably Talarico. I don’t think this is the good news you think it is.
The alternative is worse
Vance as a sitting VP will have a tough time winning. He will have to distance himself from Trump and chart his own. Trump won’t tolerate that and will shite all over him.Trump will demand Vance run on his record and as the third Trump term.

I think the GOP holds the Senate with 50 (Vance voting if tied) it’s more important to hold the Senate than the House. The House is gone. I don’t see anyway that the GOP can hold it. I see 230-205 Dems over the GOP.
