Don't you hate it when a video game breaks out in the Liberty Bowl?

No shame if they do, Memphis is as usual the best athletic program in the Volunteer state.

Memphis beat Bowling Green by 3.
Tennessee beat Bowling Green by 29.
Obviously Memphis is MUCH better.

So that's one more win on the road than Josh Dobbs has right?

Might have bought this before I saw Memphis defense tonight. You will be able to see the mushroom cloud from Ole Miss scoring onslaught all the way to Birmingham.

Exactly. For a minute there I thought I was watching a Pac-12 or Big XII "slugfest" or maybe the new strategy is the No Tackle Defense.

I say we do a ban bet like Tornado Alley offered Bugga the other day. If Memphis beats us, I will leave the Rant. If Ole Miss beats Memphis, you go. I will even throw in 7 points to make it interesting.

Going to be one hell of a shoot out!

Ole Miss will win out.

Saw some of the Memphis game last night. Actually think Ole Miss wins this one by 3 TDs. Something around 83 - 62.

Any OM fan worth their salt knows that playing Memphis is a dangerous game. Those kids love to beat us. I still like playing them, it is great for that area.

It's a hard game every time and we get no credit for winning. See, e.g., last year, when Memphis was a good team.
We'd be better off getting "quality" wins against P5 teams like Illinois or Colorado.

It's true that Memphis State hates Ole Miss. Also true that the only time their stadium is filled is when Ole Miss or Tennessee play them there. But that was the worst defensive play I've seen in a long time in that Memphis State-Cincinnati game. Paxton Lynch won't be running and passing at will against OM. Cincinnati obviously couldn't stop him. Ole Miss can and will. Also, there will be 30,000 Ole Miss fans in the stands. The Memphis area is home to the largest OM alumni base in the country.

Ole Miss will score 70 on that Memphis D though.
Impressed with Fuente and Memphis may be positioning itself for a Big 12 call.

Somebody who needs an up and coming coach should give Fuente a serious look after this season.

You gave up 37 to a Bama team that can't pass and had 5 turnovers. Your strength isn't in your defense this year.

I think that the Rebals MIGHT be able to give Memphis more than Cincy was able to last night...

OM will beat them as badly as they want to beat them. I think the Vandy v OM game will be closer than the OM-Memphis game.
