Ole Miss starting pitching is becoming productive with Will Etheridge the ace of the staff, and freshmen Mckacy(sp) and Hoglund both going over 6 quality innings this weekend. the bullpen has been outstanding all season. this combined with a lineup that has no holes and putting up 8 runs a game on average, I am hoping this Ole Miss squad is beginning to hit its stride at the right time of the season.

Honestly, I think Ole Miss is a year ahead of schedule with their team. If they continue to develop the Rebs should be a nightmare next year.

Ole Miss reminds me of 2015 LSU, not a terribly deep pitching staff but the ability to outhit anyone at anytime.

Olenik is the only senior. Tyler Keenan is a sophomore. Dillard, Kessinger and Zabowski are available for the draft, but I doubt all 3 of them leave together after this year. The only one ready for professional ball is Kessinger, Dillard and Zabowski struggle with lefties and strike out too much.

Does LSU have any lefties on staff? I heard they only have 1, so on paper that means we match up really well against them.

Our batting average against righties is insane. Drops significantly against lefties. Also really helps guys like servideo and Dillard. Dillard rakes against righties. Like i said I think this is one of the best chances we’ve had to win down there in a while but because it’s cursed I’m sure something stupid will happen.
I’m most curious to see if little Bianco gets to play. You know Mike knows exactly what he can’t hit, Will he bring in some junk pitcher late in the game just to get in his head
