I am almost 30 years old. When we look the the Iron Bowl in my lifetime in 5 game intervals, Auburn has the edge in everyone but one tie. In my lifetime we have a winning edge over Bama. This is also just about the time of Bear's death so I call it the Post Bear Death era

last 5 games AU leads 3-2
last 10 AU leads 7-3
last 15 AU leads 9-6
last 20 tied 10-10
last 25 AU leads 14-11
last 30 AU leads 16-14

So tell me why Bama thinks they are the shite when they are as good this year as the 2004, 1993, 1983 Auburn teams. History shows that we both put up one great team a decade. See 1992 Bama also. They are no better than the rest of us. To think they are going to continue dominating is flat at redonkulous.

Don't worry, all they are doing is playing for the bcs national title. How has trooper and looper spun that to recruits considering both schools?

like I said we all have a good team every decade. It worked out for them as did LSU with 2 losses but Auburn's best team is left out. Until their is a playoff it is all mythical.

since you obviously don't know about football recruiting, Us and Bam are really not after the same recruits except for CJ Moseley and James Stone who I think Auburn does not have a chance with.

Bama has its 13th , 10+ win season and is playing for its 3rd NC.

Auburn has 8, 10+ win seasons and zero NC's.

Nothing auburn fans have thought about ALABAMA has been right this year.

BAMA will have a drop off.... WRONG
BAMA will lose 3-4 games....WRONG
McElroy won't be effective....WRONG
The OL will suck....WRONG
Saban can't have back to back great seasons...WRONG
BAMA won't win the SEC west....WRONG
BAMA can't beat Florida....WRONG
auburn ended Ingram's Heisman.... HUGE WRONG

Do you see a pattern?

Honestly, if you base the success of your team just on the record with it's rival then you shouldn't worry.

You really believe this is the only good team Saban will put together? Man...you've got some disappointing years ahead.

CPA
You can compare stats or past history..but the bottom line is Auburn will forever be Alabama's "Little Brother"

As long as Saban is our coach it'll only get worse year after year. But hey we probably won't win 'em all just most of them. Get ready for next year at BDS!!

I haven't posted here all that long, so there is a chance I am wrong, but I'm pretty sure that every single thread AuburnCPA has ever started has been about Alabama. This fact would seem to contradict the title of this thread.

I've said it many times and a lot of Auburn fans deny it, but Auburn is more worried about beating Bama than winning championships. CPA just admitted what most Barners feel deep inside themselves.
