Or.... our schedule was full and you asked to play knowing full well we had no open dates. Was Texas going to pay the penalty to whoever we had to break a contract with to open a spot for them? Nope. They were not.
Obviously what really happened was Del Conte wanted some positive press, knew we'd say no to that bullshite "offer", and when we predictably said no we aren't going to pay other schools to go away just for the honor playing Texas he used it to make idiots like yourself get a "they're scared of us" boner. Congrats on being a sucker.

And yes it is a trash move to push a player etc. But, dude was pretty big, and in full pads so I doubt he got any boo boos. Tech is looking for him so he can face justice.
Also the aTm goal post story is one of the greatest internet stories ever told. Some old ag was in the stands sling his binoculars at students, aggy on aggy crimes and the goalposts moving at light speed toward aggy who had no idea to get out of the way. It all started with aggy doing their gay yells during Techs school song. Gap kid, pirate guy, man that is some lore.
