I wouldn't call the Clemson game a blowout...and Arkansas has only lost to BAMA. I'm not trying to flame, just think a 23+ point spread against AU is ridiculous given LSU inflated wins.

And we destroyed the #9 & #11 teams on the road, coach. Don't act like we've just putt putting along this season.

This. I don't know how any Alabama fan could be cheering for Auburn this weekend. I get what his point is, but Auburn just isn't going to beat LSU so what's the point. Really, say LSU beats Alabama and Alabama is looking for a back-door way into ATL they can still get there with an Arky win over LSU. Then all the teams would have one loss (if Arky wins out) and it would come down to BCS standings (see OU-Texas-Texas Tech 2008). All that is so far down the road and so hypothetical though. Let's just enjoy the season, and the showdown November 5th

It would be hilarious to see AU beat LSU, but man that would take all the air out of Nov. 5. I'd rather LSU just go ahead and take care of bidness Sat.

Where did I say this?

I believe I only responded to claim that the #7 & #9 teams were 'decent.'

I didn't say jack shite about lsu.

Exactly. I have a difficult time understanding why a fan from either side would take the "I skeered" route. Knock heads on Nov 5 for it all...then, go play the remainder of the sched with those still standing.

those stats are relevant. It is true LSU has beaten nobody of consequence in the SEC yet. They have however dominated each opponent and had two road victories over top 15 out of conference teams (oregon and WVU).

The proof is in the pudding though. The real season starts this week. (Aub, Bama, and ARkansas) is the real test. LSU has proven nothing yet.

Here is a stat--

OOC we beat WVU and Oregon, handing both their only loss. How did you guys do with Clemson?

Sure it does.

Someone said Auburn has been blown out by the only two decent teams they played, you mentioned they were both in the top ten.

How does me sarcastically mentioning LSU is also in the top ten have nothing to do with what you posted?

Yep. LSU's resume is nothing compared to the powerhouses Auburn has beaten.

MissSt - 13 points
UK - 28 points
UF - 30 points
UT - 31 points

If the games had been close, I could understand your optimism.
However, please tell me by how many points LSU needed to win those SEC games in order to prove they were better?

Last time I checked, only one point more was needed. They just happened to roll up an extra 98 for fun!
