First off, LSU still has 2 outstanding teams to play so anything could happen. But if they do win out and Oregon goes on to win the PAC 10 or 12 or whatever. They will probably jump Bama in the polls. Why? The coaches across the nation will not want to see an all SEC championship game. If it happens great! After a week or 2 you will see shat I am saying. The computers will be swayed by the extra game and the human factor will work against our conference.

There will never be a unanimous vote to put two sec teams in the NC game.

Won't happen.

They hate the sec enough as it is. And since it won't be unanimous, and bamas SOS starts going down and Oregon goes up they will be in

I don't think there will be a rematch either, but some of your other fans on this board are just so much fun to pick on.

Back to the top. Why won"t you Bama fans post to what is obvious? Scared to know the truth?

Just let them dream a little, it's all they got, as for LSU, we still got Ole Miss and Arky. Ole miss is Iowa state, Arky is OU.

Bama fans want it more than anything. Convinced Bama got beat by an inferior opponent on 11/5.

Dude... just be honest. It is ok.

This x's 10

It has nothing to do with Oregon being better than Bammer, it's just how it's going to be...

I must be living in a different world, because I swear I can remember the voters only dropping Bama to 3 and hearing all the talking heads calling for a rematch after the game. The voters seem to like Bama.

As an LSU fan I am not scared, I just don't like the fact that Alabama have to put in Zero effort to get into the title game while LSU is busting their hump to do so. It's very thief like trying to steal a championship like how the bear use to do. I know I know they profess that we are scared and we want to play Oregon, but guess what? Oregon if they go undefeated in their conference have earned that over Bama who got beat in their house.

Easy to understand for us, hard to comprehend for the gumps.

Look at a map of the USA and see where the greatest population lives. Are you keeping up with me? Most live outside of our conference. Fact! Now ask the other 49 states is they want to see a rematch between LSU and Alabama. You will only see one state light up. Guess who? It is all about money and TV. They said the first game was boring. Get it yet? I doubt it. Now where are the voters living and in which conference? Is this going over your redneck heads? Probably. But to make it simple, they will do anything under the sun to keep this game from happening. And LSU and Alabama won't have a say. Compre'? Doubt it.

calm down bro

only 18 million watched the first game, i'm sure the money and tv folks will be adamantly opposed to round 2.

GTFO with this bullshite and just admit that you only want a rematch if it's Oregon. You would think Bama is lounging around sipping pina coladas waiting for January or something.

Bama is clearly the 2nd best team in the nation right now, so we're gonna lobby for a spot in the title game no matter who is ranked #1.

LSU would do the same thing if they were in our shoes, and you know it.

This is my problem. So if Bama really could just miss the SECCG and still go to the NCG has LSU basically clinched a spot with a win against Ole Miss and no more than one loss.

Basically Bama fans and certain media members think it is fine that Bama doesn't have to play the extra conference championship game (like LSU is projected to) and gets to play potentially LSU for a NC at a neutral site that already beat them at home.

The whole idea is kind of fricked up. I do like the idea of Miles and LSU denying Bama's NC path again for a second time in the same season.

With this line of thinking LSU should easily win in regulation.
