While no one would have seen the extent that UTk and UF would have taken a step back, the fact that they were going to take a step back was fairly apparent to everyone who doesn't get paid to talk about football. That plus the Mizzou & Vanderbilt losses were laughable.

Well, let's do a quick comparison between frequent opponents to get a true sense of things here...it seems like the only teams that they have any remote commonality at all in is Auburn, Georgia, and South Carolina.
Auburn is 4-17-1 (.205) in Death Valley-Baton Rouge and 4-4-0 (.500) in Death Valley-Clemson.
Georgia is 5-5-1 (.500) in Death Valley-BR and is 8-7-2 (.529) in Death Valley-Clemson.
South Carolina is 1-12 (.077) in Death Valley-BR and 10-18-1 (.362) in Death Valley-Clemson.
Conclusion: you are correct, sir.
