I never knew Little Rock had an 18K seat arena. It looks fairly new or renovated. Who uses it? It doesn't seem like many sports teams play there.

Mostly for concerts and stuff like that- it's been around long enough for it about to have it's 3rd name. I'm going to toss out 20 years?

Dang I'm good- just wiki'd it and Opened: October 2, 1999.

Yeah, been around for 20 years or so. It's hosted the SEC Women's bball tournament twice and has hosted the NCAA 1st and 2nd rounds twice as well.

Basketball and football aren't drawing the crowds they used to in state. We can see why people are avoiding the football games and the basketball team has been just good enough to pencil in for a first or second round loss in the NCAAs.

Baseball is packing them in. Which goes to show, people want to see a winning product. Basketball and football aren't winning enough to get the really big crowds now.

I think we average around 8.5 thousand a game. A big game gets around 10.5 thousand. A lot of people see Arkansas baseball games during a season. Not as many as LSU, the Bayou Bengals love their baseball, but we can pack them in.

Blame the SEC Network, not The Rock. The production capability is there, always has been. Would have been a simple matter to put a top notch presentation on if allowed to.
