Calling people dickheads is too unoriginal for a rivalry. "Tater" refers to the fact that clemson used to allow farmers to donate crops, like potatos, to their athletic fund in order to gain membership into iptay. Also, it's auxiliary funny play on "tigers" as well.

Such an ingenious marketing tool. Maybe South Carolina could have used such a plan, then they might not have been one of the worst football programs in history.
