I'd just like to say that this is the first time I've personally felt the evil that is Westboro affecting people I care about, whether they show up or not.
Those people are just pure evil.

It's been really hard for me to not say anything to them on twitter, but I refuse to give them any type of publicity. Hopefully they don't show up.

There was a marine from Dothan killed a few weeks ago in Afghanistan, and they put on their calendar that they were going to picket his funeral. They ended up making a deal with a Dothan radio station that they wouldn't picket the funeral, but in return got like an hour of free radio time to broadcast their nonsense.

Not sure if it was posted previously (I looked back a few pages but didn't see it), but the Westboro Baptist Church has planned to picket the funeral. Everyone on hogville is up in arms about it (understandably so).

They do this a LOT. I really hope we don't give in.

Sounds like Cardiomyopathy "sudden death" #1 killer of athletes under 25. No symptoms, at least nothing abnormal with what athletes go through in training. Shortness of breath, chest pains. Usually first evidence of a problem is death. Took my daughter at 15.

One day, somewhere, Westboro is going to come upon the wrong group of people to picket and someone is going to open fire on the whole bunch of them and kill every single one of them. We can only hope that happens to this evil group.
