There's not a better program in the country when it comes to educating elite athletes on how to become a better person. Not every kid accepts what they're taught, but it's not because Saban and staff don't see that it's strongly presented to them.

You know, Bama deserves to be laughed at for this so knock yourself out.I mean Ray Rice on how to treat women is hilarious. However, if Mike Tyson really hit women, they would be dead. I mean I know he had problems but I never believed he hit Givens and I never believed he actually raped that woman. Just saying.

r/CFB on Reddit was pretty overwhelmingly positive towards this. And that represents a cross-section of the country.
Ray Rice is a regular on the speaker circuit. His wife, who he's still with, has spoken too. By all accounts he's straightened things out based on people who know him says he's a force for change and has really turned things around and is making a positive impact.
Certainly there's always a theme to these speakers...Mike Tyson who's turned his life around. spoke this year...Rickey Smiley who spoke about getting shot.
Theme being, don't f--- up like me. Especially when you have everything going for you. Which is a great message. Especially if you can relate to players...both were athletes who f---ed up.
So the theme is there. Of course Alabama has had domestic abuse victims speak as well.
