He managed to get Mississippi State to be ranked number one in the entire country for 5 weeks. Sadly, we finished 2014 in a disappointing fashion, but the man's a miracle worker.

Honestly he had my jimmies all twisted in a bunch and if there were a white flag of surrender emoji I would have used it.

Just like Richt other than Richt was 0-3 vs Florida after 3 years, and 0-2 against Ron Zook. I mean frick Kirby but he definitely has Georgia playing at a high level and it remains to be seen if we can match it.
I think (and hope) that Mullen can get Florida to Georgia's level. The only way to do that is to beat them.

How is that relevant? They had the playoffs in Richts later years and he never made it. Kirby took largely the same team minus Gurley to the playoffs. If Richt continued the success he had in his first 3 years he wouldn't be unemployed right now.
