What matters is that Pearce is guilty of incidents similar to most of the uga incidents. Remember, Each individual case should stand on its own merits and demerits.

Not when dealing with the numbers UGA is. They could do a task force on UGAs stuff

You have dug a hole so deep in this discussion that you are now Arguing for a LACK of fairness for misdemeanors.
You would be a failure. One reason is that No parent would trust a POS that would toss their kid to the curb for driving fast.

I think UTk and UGA have the same number of players arrested this off-season. Maybe UGA has one more, not certain.
UGA has a lot of citations. But getting a ticket for speeding isn't an arrest.
For some reason though, idiots who want to go after UGA (like this UTk guy) want to characterize a speeding ticket as an arrest... because those numbers are available for UGA. I wouldn't be shocked if UTk has about the same number of speeding tickets as UGA too. It's just no reporter has bothered to count them for UTk.

Lil smokey, serious question, do you ever post about anything expect for UGA??

If UGA was dealing with a couple speeding tickets I could understand your point of view. But it’s not jus t a couple of speeding tickets.
And if Tennessee was just one or two cases of assault I could understand your wanting to ignore them. But...it's not just one or two cases of assault.
Why do UTk football players always resort to assaults?
Tennessee football quarterback Kaidon Salter is serving an indefinite suspension and did not participate in the Vols' first practice of the spring Thursday.
“Kaidon is part of the group of individuals that are suspended from team activities at this point," Vols coach Josh Huepel said following the practice.
The highly regarded freshman is the fourth Vol suspended following an incident at Stokely Hall in early March.
A witness reported to UT police that their roommate answered the door and was assaulted by one male, while three or four other males entered the apartment, went into another room and took items belonging to the individual who had answered the door, according to a UT public safety notice.

You believe life is fair? It’s not, sometimes a leader has to set standards, a line you can’t cross. And if you do you become an example.
Obviously Kirby needs a new AD that can handle the discipline for him.
Driving fast while street racing drunk isn’t just driving a little fast.
It’s a good thing you are not a parent.

Who is ignoring them? Issues were addressed, corrective measures were taken, UT owned the incidents and procedures were put in place to address them. UT was absolutely transparent in handling its issues.
Kaidon Salter Was booted off the team Dismissed quickly before he could become a cancer

Judgements should be fair. Punishments should fit the crime.

No coach would include speeding as the line you can’t cross.

Let’s see the list of players who are guilty of this. How many got felonies for it?

Your kids would disown you if you treated them as badly as you want uga to treat our players.

Good point.

And standards should be met. If the AD set a team rule that says if you are arrested for DUI or Street Racing you will sit a minimum of 3 games or be dismissed then that is a fair judgement and punishment that fits violating team rules. At some point the nonsense UGA is allowing should be dealt with. And honestly if it had been dealt with 2 years ago you wouldn’t have this problem today.

Wait. While under indictment for felony assault McCollough was allowed to play. how was that addressed?
Salter..that was his first suspension. It took another incident for him to be addressed.

Quickly? Again...the assault and he was brought back. It was his second arrest before it was "addressed quickly".

Because he hit drunk dude that broke into a dorm room. Pretty cut and dry. The only reason it was an issue was because hit hit the guy hard.

He was suspended and quickly dismissed. What are you looking for?

He plead down. The guy had left the room when McCollough attacked him. They guy did not act aggressively or violently....McCollough told him to leave..he did...and then McCollough attacked him. While the charges were still pending Tennessee continued to play him. So again. I ask. How was it handled?
quote:He was not thrown off the team after the first assault. It was after the second incident. can you not read?
He was suspended and quickly dismissed. What are you looking for?
1. Salter assaulted someone and robbed stuff from the guys apartment.
2. He was suspended and reinstated before the season began.
3. He was arrested a second time for drugs and driving without a license
4. He was dismissed this time, after a week.
You act like it took forever for Georgia to dismiss Ra Ra. It took a week, just like it took Tennessee a week to dismiss Salter. (Rara Thomas has been dismissed from Georgia's football team following his arrest on July 26.)
It actually took Georgia less than a week to dismiss Thomas.
Here:
The Tennessee Volunteers dismissed freshman quarterback Kaidon Salter on Thursday after he was arrested last week on charges of simple possession and driving without a license.
Salter, a former four-star prospect from Texas, was previously suspended from the team in March after an incident at an on-campus residence hall. He was later reinstated.
