Mac is having the better season statistically. Sorry your savior only lasted a year as the goat

1. Burrow 2. Trask 3. Mac - He's good at one thing, standing in the pocket behind a O line of 4 or 5 NFL draft picks. And then throwing a 40+ yard pass to Devonta Smith who is 5 to 10 yards behind the other teams safety.

Bulls eye.
Florida would be 6-3 without Trask. Bama without Mac they have the same fricking record. It’s obvious who is better and doing more with less. Fools.

Burrow went fricking bananas the last four games last year. Keeping him at #1 until the others can do the same.

Unless Mac and bama goes 13-0. Against a full sec schedule. That’s no question more impressive than padding stats against directional and big 12 schools.

1. Burrow.
2. Trask.
3. Mac.

I know Trask and Burrow can carry their teams without running games, I don't know if Mac can do it. He has a lot of easy passes, easy reads etc..

In the end, Trask is passing into pure passing defenses and Burrow was just on an entirely other level.

It's just one of those things

A few months ago we were all questioning whether Burrow had an SEC GOAT argument, now it's pretty irrelevant in light of what Mac is doing

I say this as someone who is not an LSU fan

Burrow - he was just damned good, and with Brady ...
Mac - best deep ball of the three
Trask - nothing that stands out. Exceptional, but not at the level of other two

give Burrow ... that O line
it is funny that the narrative is Mac is on a stacked team as a knock on him tearing things up in his first year as a starter.

Burrow had one year of Extraordinary and well-earned success. He also had the best OL in CFB, a tremendous RB, 3+ NFL WRs and Joe Brady's passing game to get him there. He certainly had his own advantages in his big year and still had 3 close games.

Mac is incredibly accurate coupled with quick decision making and vision, a tremendous pocket presence and awareness, and the best deep ball I've seen from a Bama QB in my lifetime. His only knock are his legs. Not very mobile or comfortable running, sliding, which makes him miss some opportunities to tuck the ball and gash the D when the middle of the field opens up.

He is doing great. No one has challenged them, yet. Will be interesting to see how the season goes. It certainly is not over.

All 3 of those QBs are great.
1. BURROW
2. MAC
3. TRASK

I know we got the best OL award but Burrow’s highlight reel is full of him escaping pressure and also getting huge first downs with his legs

They should return the trophy then.

Not a knock on those guys because I think some of them (especially Lloyd) were pretty good, but CEH and Burrow made them look much better than they actually were.

People win awards they shouldn't all the time.

Grant Delpit clearly wasn't the nation's best defender last year.

Bo Nix shouldn't have won the SEC FOTY over Stingley, just the way it goes sometimes.

Hell, Matt Canada won the Broyles Award before he came to LSU.

very true. There were admittedly better pass rush teams last year. Also, LSU OL was pretty balanced between pass and run. It is hard to do both to an elite level. I think they did as well balancing the strength of run and pass blocking as we've seen in a while.

Bama is a pass protection first OL. Running between the tackles is not the typical Bama power OL.

There's no point in arguing this stuff.

Either the Alabama QB just throws slants or he just throws lollipop punts to open WRs 50 yards down field.

I think Mac has the most accurate deep ball of the three.
I think Trasks puts his team on his back and carries them through. In the red zone he is second to none as evident by his amount of td passes.
I think JB is the best athlete of these 3 and possesses the best leadership traits and is the best of these 3 overall. And anybody who says Joe is fragile knows nothing about Joe. He is tough as nails.
