Back to bed with ye. Your argument is horrible and impossible to prove.
As opposed to the "I live in South Carolina and I know" argument. Way more sound.
South Carolina has a great fan base. So does Clemson. I'm not arguing yours is smaller. I'm saying it's silly to say you dwarf a top 25 fanbase. You're both top 25 fanbases.

You ignored it because you were trying to use it as data that proved that the SC fan base wasn't much larger than Clemson's but when I pointed out to you that SC has more merchandise sales than A&M's suddenly you didn't want to talk about it anymore.
I don't think you're very bright.
I don't think you understand the concept of correlation.
I think you're a homer.
There's a short list for you.

Rock Hill? That's a po-dunk arse town out in Western MO (no offense KC folks). But here in St. Louis this trend is definitely en vogue. And I'd know more than most as I'm a little less than a decade out from being one if those jackass teenagers.

Ah yes, the point in the argument where there is nothing else for you to say so arbitrary insults are used.
I don't think you're very intelligent.
I don't think you understand a state that you have visited once as much as you assume you do.
I think you should stick to Missouri-related things.
There's a short list for you.
Did I do it right?

The state is about 75% South Carolina and 25% Clemson.
Hell I see more Georgia fans on the streets than I do Clemson fans. You really only see them in upstate SC. Yeah there's a few, but pales in comparison.
Sorry Mizzoubro's. You're wrong.

TN and Arkansas should be a little bit higher IMO but pretty good list

But that's the only part of the state he has been in. And my "lived and been around the entire state" is apparently less relevant than his sample size.

I'll elucidate for you.
If a team has the most fans, one would expect that they would sell a lot of 1) tickets and 2) merchandise. A team with the most fans may not sell the MOST tickets and/or merchandise. But we can also expect that a team with very few fans will not sell a lot of tickets and merchandise.
If a fanbase sells a lot of tickets and/or merchandise, it is safe to assume they have a lot of fans. Clemson sells a lot of tickets and merchandise. Therefore it is safe to assume that they have a lot of fans.
Furthermore, as college fandom is largely (but not exclusively) regional, it would be surprising to see huge numbers of Clemson fans in, say, South Dakota. One would expect the vast majority of their fans to be located in and around South Carolina.
And as South Carolina is the 24ish most populated state, it is almost impossible for a state to be "dominated" by South Carolina fans and still have Clemson be ranked in the top 25 fan bases.
If you cannot follow any part of this rather linear argument, please let me know which part tripped you up.

The part where you said most fans = more tickets and merchandise and most fans = not always more tickets and merchandise.

This whole argument is pointless! REC already bought and paid for the number 1 spot. Resistance is futile

Top 25 from what ranking? Because you say it is?

Its real simple and it may be hard from someone to Missouri to understand but like AL, SC has no pro-teams. It is a college only and football crazy state so while it may only have a medium-sized population I guarantee you a high % of those fans have SC or Clemson as far and away their #1 team and they team they support far and away more than any other.
So yes it is possible for a state our size to have 2 schools with significant support but one with a significant amount of more support than the other.

The real question on my mind is why are you so pussy hurt about us saying we beat Clemson in something? Got an affair going on with the ACC?

Are all SC fans functionally illiterate? Your statement above is perfectly in line with exactly what I've been posting. Jeezis.

Good thing you edited that to say something I actually said.
And thanks for proving you have no idea what "correlation" is.

What? I never said Clemson didn't have good support. No SC fan would claim that. I said SC has a larger fan base in comparison to Clemson than you believe. Now try reading the rest of my post as to how that is possible.

I simply argued Clemson has a significant fan base. I never even said theirs was bigger. Are y'all always this sensitive about them?
