While CFB is coming to a close, I guess this would be an entertaining discussion.

My opinion, and according to US news college rankings

Vandy > Florida > TAMU > Georgia > every other school

I was just reading that it's:
Tennessee> Vandy> Florida>.. oh wait.. Read that on a UT forum. Disregard.

I didn't know UGA was ranked so close. It seems like UF and TAMU carry more national recognition

Yeah it's pretty close between UF, UGA, and A&M. We get the bump though because of our AAU membership and research dollars.

You may want to recheck your sources slick.

Nevermind, I'm not going to be dragged into debating this entire fricking ignorant thread.

Rankings would suggest UF has the slight edge among the three. I give you guys the edge in engineering, but we don't slack. Also, we do have highly ranked graduate programs, including the best medical school in the south behind Emory.

I was speaking with my Mother last night--she's a former professor at Alabama. She told me that according to some of her friends that still teach at U of A the University is larger than its ever been, more than half of the students are from out of state, professors have received a raise every year for the last four years where other schools in state have not granted a school-wide raise in five. To say revenue is up at the University of Alabama would be an understatement.
