I wouldn't even have an issue with UGA above Arky but do you think them at 4 and us at 9 is reasonable?

Absolutely not...very similar resume. UGA should be ranked a bit lower and Arky a bit higher...they probably ought to be ranked side by side as there really is no tangible difference in resume.

I'm sorry dude, but this list is crap. Georgia too high, Tenn and Arky too low.

1. Alabama - legit.

2-9 - no one knows.

10-bottom - good luck next year.

What sticks out to me is that most of the fans have realized their team's strengths and weaknesses. In the Aggies case our defense is improved and our offense is as good a Knight. He was "on" for UCLA, he was struggling against Prairie View. Suspect he will be that way the rest of the season.

The ones that don't seem to be secure are Auburn and Arkansas.

I sense a nervousness.

well duh, have you watched the Cardiac Hogs this season.

Played down to comp, played up to comp...

Definitely saw major improvement between game 1 and 2 however.

Look at last season, TOLEDO? Yeah, we are nervous, it is what we do! lol

However, this season is beginning to feel a bit different. We usually start so slow we lose early. We were inexplicably losing to whom we shouldn't, and then by mid season, nobody wanted to play us.

If the trend follows, watch out.

This is a new feeling for us to win the first 2 games and improve at the same time. FUN and yet, hard on our health!

Kyle, dude.... You keep mentioning a face mask, go back and watch the game.
1. Hatcher pass that was called offensive pass int when they both hit each other in the running, normal play in a game.
2. Phantom holding call on Raulerson..
3. The TCU WR's held on almost every play, not called.
4. Mark Curles... was the head ref, NEED I SAY MORE? look up his history with us, and other SEC teams, dude should be fired.
5. The turnovers were caused by a defense as well.
6. AT Least give some respect to a team that started off strong, fell apart, but never gave up and the coaching in the last part of the game was genius.

You must be one truly butt hurt individual. Geeze!

And at the end of the quarter, down by 13 points, TCU had still outgained Arkansas by nearly 100 yards and was also outgaining them in yards per play.

You may be mentally handicapped if you truly believe it was all Hog domination through 3 quarters if your team is being outgained by 100 yards.

The no-call on the facemask was literally the difference in the game at that point. TCU was driving towards a score, and the facemask that caused a fumble was not called.

If you truly can't see the red flags going up right now for your team, it will make the fall that much harder to take. Good luck

I am not saying Arkansas is that great, time will tell. However you seem to have a thing against Arkansas. I saw an espn power ranking that showed a ranking like most show late in this thread with Arkansas #4. IF you watched the game you would have seen constant holding by TCU that was not called. Kind of curious the ref was the same one that was suspended by the SEC for his calling of the AR vs FL game that cost Arkansas the game.

They did beat a ranked team on the road, have to give them that.

Auburn's win over Arkansas State looks way better than Arkansas' win over La Tech... way better.

Dude...seriously?! You really are an idiot. LaTech BEAT Arkansas State in their bowl game last year by 19 points. Way better...LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!

This is why you shouldn't call other posters idiots. Auburn eviscerated Arkansas State. Arkansas nearly lost to La Tech. The 2 teams are in the same league of competition. I'm thinking that's what he is referring to. Quite obviously it is. Who's the idiot?

So let's get this right Arkansas has beaten a top 15 team on the road, a true road game and you have, Georgia, TN, ole miss, A&M, LSU and freaking Auburn ahead of us? Yeah ok

Did I say anything like that? My comment was to convey that UGA is really bad. Nothing to do with where Arkansas should be.

And you say you beat a Top15 team... stop putting any faith in preseason polls. They are always really wrong. We know pretty much to nothing before the season on how teams will perform. Same way I don't think Clemson is a Top5 team. If we would've beaten them, I wouldn't go around pounding my chest saying we beat the #2 team in the country cuz it's a preseason ranking and all bullshite. And it's a good thing too, because right now Clemson doesn't look that good through Week 2.

Here's another post from me in this thread...

quote:

2-9 is a toss up at this point of the season I think. We don't know enough about these teams yet. Hell, Bama could lose to 2-9 on a given Saturday for all we know.

Reading through the thread again made me want to research something..

SDSU vs TCU Week 1
SDSU Total Yards
461
Passing
333
Rushing
128

Arky vs TCU Week 2
Arky Total Yards
403
Passing
223
Rushing
180

South Dakota St outgained you against a common opponent. That can't make you feel as confident as you seem.

4. Georgia
It was a disappointing week. The O-line looked abysmal. The defense looked very bad a times. Still, Georgia has one of the more impressive wins thus far of any team in the SEC. If they play like they did this past week, even Missouri will beat us.

Georgia - #4

you are kidding me - you blocked out what happened on Sat

If people honestly think UF is the 8th best team in the SEC....they either wish it were true or dont have a clue.

The good thing is that we get to show what we have real soon.
