don't see how...well, lemme put it like this. I think OM has a higher ceiling, offensively. When they are clicking on all 8 cylinders, they are more deadly than Auburn on its best day.

This is a fair point. At this point in the season, it's hard not to rank teams based on potential rather than actual performances.

What I think is known is this:

Tier 1: Bama

Tier 2 in no particular order:
UT
LSU
UF
OM
Ark
AU
UGA
TAMU

Tier 3 in no particular order:
USC
MSU
Vandy
Mizzou

Tier 4: UK

That's about right. It gets hard to put them in a particular order right now. I think the op's list was fair and reasonable. People get too butthurt these days over reasonable, but differing opinions.

At the very least, swap Arky-UGA and swap UT-Barn. Then the list is passable I suppose. But as it is now, it's just awful.

Seems accurate enough

The dumbest thing I've read in a while. Congratulations.

Lets completely throw out where they were played.

That TCU win was impressive, i've got the hogs as the #3 sec team so-far

RUSHING YARDS
TCU- 195
Arkansas- 180

RUSHING YARDS/PLAY
TCU- 6.09
Arkansas- 4.19

PASSING YARDS
TCU- 377
Arkansas- 223

PASSING COMPLETION
TCU- 64.3%
Arkansas- 58.3%

TOTAL YARDS
TCU- 572
Arkansas- 403

TOTAL YARDS PER PLAY
TCU- 6.36
Arkansas- 5.60

The difference in the game was TCU's two turnovers... one of which occurred because of a blatant facemask not called against Arkansas... and penalties. The Hogs will not always have the benefit of officials missing facemasks and opponent QB's hurting their team with thuggish mistakes.

Glad Arkansas won this one for the SEC, but based on the few minutes of the game I watched, as well as the stats for the game, TCU outplayed them in most every area of the game.

This makes two games in a row that Arkansas has been outgained by its opponent by nearly a yard every single play. On the season, Arkansas is now being outgained by 1.03 yards each and every play... good enough for last place in the SEC. Considering they've yet to get to the meat of the schedule, this is a major problem.

Arkansas is not in the top half of the league.

Well that actually explains everything.

You just painted a very accurate picture of one very insecure fan base.

We were up 13-0 at half and 20-7 at the beginning of the fourth quarter. If you call that TCU outplaying us you might legitimately be mentally handicapped. Maybe you should actually watch the entire game before making up things to fit your narrative.

I really don't find it surprising that every time I've noticed you being defended it's by Auburn fans. Twats of a feather stick together.

So now we aren't allowed to respond because pointing out flaws in your reasoning makes us insecure

UGA ahead of UF and Arkansas?

Not even gonna bother commenting on the rest.

And at the end of the quarter, down by 13 points, TCU had still outgained Arkansas by nearly 100 yards and was also outgaining them in yards per play.

You may be mentally handicapped if you truly believe it was all Hog domination through 3 quarters if your team is being outgained by 100 yards.

The no-call on the facemask was literally the difference in the game at that point. TCU was driving towards a score, and the facemask that caused a fumble was not called.

If you truly can't see the red flags going up right now for your team, it will make the fall that much harder to take. Good luck.

Well...in the first half. I don't think it was the dominant performance against JSU that they were hoping for. They benched their starting QB and the replacement was 6 for 14 with a pick and a fumble.

LSU went into halftime with a 17 point lead against a team that should have beat auburn last year. They benched their starting QB because he was god awful in the opening game and opening drive of game 2, and their backup came out and played nicely. I don't see how you think LSU struggled versus JSU.

What in the world are you talking about? UGA has a quality win against a ranked opponent...then struggled against an inferior team. Arky did exactly the same thing. Maybe TCU is better than North Carolina. Maybe La Tech is better than Nichols. We don't know the answer to either of those questions so it's hard to say. I think one thing is clear though..UGA has more horses than Arky.

I don't know how UF is even comparable...apples an oranges in terms of resume. UF hasn't played anyone. They appear to have decent potential but so does UGA and Arky.

I wouldn't even have an issue with UGA above Arky but do you think them at 4 and us at 9 is reasonable?

Auburn was horrible at the beginning of the season last year. I'm not sure how similar this JSU team is to last season. Honestly though, I just checked in on the game a couple of times and LSU didn't look very good. The stat sheet didn't look all that dominant either. I guess I agree though that you can't come away with a lot of conclusions from it. I understand that in spite of the stats, LSU fans liked what they saw from the QB...stats don't tell the whole story but it's all I saw.
