Why did you have to destroy an otherwise good list by ranking Tennessee #2. They almost lost to App State...should have, really...and Virginia Tech is hot garbage. Clearly Arkansas, UGA and TAMU should be ranked above UT. And trying not to be too much of a homer here but I'd say OM and Auburn have pretty similar resumes thus far, like Arky and UGA. Hard to rank them 6 spots apart...oh and you also ranked Vandy over USC...they did play you know...and USC won.

Nevermind, your list is shite.

2-9 is a toss up at this point of the season I think. We don't know enough about these teams yet. Hell, Bama could lose to 2-9 on a given Saturday for all we know.

He even has South Carolina ahead of MSU and MSU just beat South Carolina by two touchdowns a few days ago. My god, this list is shite.

UF might be a bit high...and head to head would dictate USC over Vandy...besides that, solid list

We can all give Tennessee shite for their week 1 game, but App State is a good football team that would beat 3 or 4 SEC teams this year, and Tenn bounced back nicely.

Arkansas struggled with La Tech and UGA struggled with Nichols. App state is better than both of those teams. A&M has a case.

As for AU and OM having similar resumes, I was impressed with AU week 1 until I watched Clemson struggle this week. Clemson isn't playing good football right now. OM's first half against FSU was impressive. Sure, they fell apart in the second half, but OM is a much better football team than AU, no question about it.

And, sure, USC beat Vandy, but I still think that Vandy is a better football team. Sometimes the better team loses.

Based on resumes..because the look test is worthless:

1. Bama
2. TAMU-undefeated...win vs quality, ranked opponent
3. Arky-see above
4. UGA-see above
5. UF-undefeated, no quality win
6. UT-undefeated, no quality win, struggle w/poor opponent
7. AU-strong showing v poor opponent, quality loss to #2
8. OM-see above..behind AU because AU had a chance to win their loss at the end, looked more dominant against their poor opponent
9. LSU-quality loss, but struggled against their poor opponent
10. MSU-loss to USA, looked better vs USC..who is horrible
11. USC-beat bad Vandy team, destroyed by poor MSU team
12. Vandy-lost to poor USC team, rebounded vs MTSU
13. Mizzou-lost to horrible WVU team, did ok vs poor opponent
14. UK-vomit

Georgia's win over North Carolina is equally... if not more... impressive than Arkansas' win over TCU.

We struggled with Nichols State, you struggled with La Tech. Not comparing those two opponents as equal, but the bottom line is neither UGA or Arky should have struggled with those opponents.

Statistically speaking, Arkansas looks to be one of the weakest teams in the league. Your opponents are outgaining your team by over a yard every single play. That's a problem.

It was a disappointing week. The O-line looked abysmal. The defense looked very bad a times. Still, Georgia has one of the more impressive wins thus far of any team in the SEC. If they play like they did this past week, even Missouri will beat us.

5. Florida
The Gators got the offense going this week to go along with what everyone knew was a strong defense. Kentucky might just be the worst SEC team to take the field in over a decade though. Next comes North Texas, and with that, the Gators win the championship for the absolutely weakest trio of opponents to start the year. I'm ready to see Florida take on someone decent to see what they've got this year.

Auburn's win over Arkansas State looks way better than Arkansas' win over La Tech... way better.

So which is better? A 6-point loss to Clemson or a tie at the end of regulation to TCU. I think Clemson is far better than TCU.

Auburn should be ahead of Arkansas at this point.

I don't see how...well, lemme put it like this. I think OM has a higher ceiling, offensively. When they are clicking on all 8 cylinders, they are more deadly than Auburn on its best day. But they have to actually do that. In neither of their games did they put together 2 good halves of football...so yeah, they probably can...but they haven't yet. And their D is really the same...they looked like the land sharks in their first half v FSU, the land sharts in the 2nd half. I don't know how you ignore their bad half and just focus on their good half. FSU probably is better than Clemson...we will see...but again, AU was closer to winning that game than OM was to winning theirs. We have only one other game to go by and Auburn definitely looked sharper vs their poor opponent than OM. "no question" that OM is better than AU? I think there is a huge question...luckily, we'll get the answer soon enough and won't have to ponder it any longer.

Well...in the first half. I don't think it was the dominant performance against JSU that they were hoping for. They benched their starting QB and the replacement was 6 for 14 with a pick and a fumble.

Hard to do with such limited info, but I thought it was a solid list and reasonable thoughts for each team.

With 2 games played, it could reasonably be in a lot of different orders depending on perspective and what one focuses on. Only 2 firm rankings are Bama at 1 and UK at 14.
