98 hogs are borderline a bcs championship team ish...after leaving knoxville #1 if they didnt fumble...rematch in the sec title would have been phenomenal. List should be littered with 98 hogs

Arkansas has had a ridiculous amount of very good but not quite considered great running backs over history. But we’ve been a mainly ground oriented offense so this isn’t surprising. Fred Talley is still running somewhere…haha.

Alex Collins was good as well…

Matt Jones is a less talented passer version of every video game player I've ever created

He would have been a better passer had he not been injured.

The list needs to be top 100.

But I'm pleased they gave recognition to the very first Arkansas football superstar Clyde Scott.

Smackover

Very different types of offenses with those two. Grovey did very well.

quote:

Grovey was a four-year letterwinner and a three-year starter at Arkansas from 1988 to 1990. He led the team to Southwest Conference championships in 1988 and 1989. Overall, he passed for 4,496 yards and rushed for 1,746. He was later named to the Arkansas All-Century team and Alltel Southeastern Conference Football Legends.[2]

He was very effective in that offense.

Ken Hatfield returned a punt for a touchdown that beat texas in the 1964 championship season and was a standout defensive back and halfback.
