The endless stream of threads like this gave me this epiphany:

Arkansas truly has become Fredo to the SEC's Corleone family.

All they want is a little respect.

Arkansas is a national brand, period. The vast majority of sports fans know exactly what state is associated with the Razorbacks. Though, half of them think we border Alabama and Little Rock is where the university is located.

Arkansas without a doubt is a national brand from truck drivers to the casual football fan. This is common speak and knowledge.

Slow down. They just bought their "Get your Piss Hot!" t-shirts. They can't just run back out to Wal-Mart an get another one before their next government check arrives.

a lot of you think A&M is some sleeping giant

they very much are. maybe you should check out their recruiting lately......it has improved significantly since joining the SEC. I know arky fans don't like to admit that, but numbers don't lie.

gets more national respect than Arkansas

no they don't yet.....but if they continue to recruit at the level they currently are, it is only a matter of time before they become a legitimate SEC contender.

Texas Tech, thy doppelganger is Arkansas.

The wee-man syndrome of perpetual attention-seeking and desire for validation from the Hogs is so reminiscent of the Red Raiders it's scary.

Looks like Arkansas has already lost their Leach, too! Bring on the Tubberville "NASCAR Offense" years of failing to be bowl eligible!

I'm not going to read this whole thread, but I hope it has been pointed out that these royalties figures were for three months in 2012, during a time in which a 2 loss Arkansas team beat a top 10 opponent in the Cotton Bowl, while a 6-6 A&M team had just limped into the Meineke Car Care Bowl. Further, only 5 spots separate A&M and Arky. We have no idea how much money that represents. On top of that, A&M has not enjoyed the national exposure of playing in the SEC.

A&M is certainly NOT a national brand, but we have a great chance of becoming one.

SOMETHING to do with Arkansas being more popular nationally than A&M.

You're not kidding.

True story: I was in a t-shirt shop in Bangor Maine earlier this summer and saw Notre Dame, Michigan, Connecticut, Alabama and even LSU merchandise, but not one single bit of Arkansas paraphernalia. So I asked the attendent, "where is all of your Razorback stuff?" and he basically said that they couldn't keep it on the shelves.

So there you have it, Arkansas out sells them all - NATIONALLY.

First of all....gotta say "Bacon Britches" is one of the best tags Ive seen on this board

I jumped to the last page...dont have time to read all this crap....if its been done...forgive me for being a lazy azz...but just print the freaking total dollar amounts of merchandise sold.

If your state is too small...too poor.. or dont care, then thats just too bad.
