Ensminger has to prove he can maintain the playcalling from last year but I would definitely put him higher than 8th
You and all the Negatigers who up arrowed have to prove you’re LSU fans when you call out a coach from a National Champion team.
Ensminger is following the Sean Payton Saints Offense Template and that means:
1. Game plans crafted months in advance
2. Passing First & 60% passing to free runs
3. Passing game COs who call third downs
4. Tons of stats & film reviewed to tweak final game plans and SHORT LIST SUCCESSFUL Down N Distance plays (using new age stats) for game day.
Without Brady, Game time adjustments will take just as long as 2019 because of system to make adjustments and analysts employed that identify new weak points in dees to attack.
Ensminger and Linehan will have LSU as the Top Ranked SEC offense — Again in 2020! And second won’t be close — Again in 2020!
And these preseason COCK STROKERS that couldn’t find their own arse with both hands and a roadmap (that you say ranked Ensminger 8th) will be proven wrong by LSU, AGAIN AFTER BS 2019 PRESEASON PREDICTIONS.
Last time I’ll say it today — Watch OC booth Video and you’ll hear Brady cursing THEY CANT FKN STOP US — Ensminger don’t curse (in company) but the laughter and high fives will be lather rinse repeat in 2020 with Tigers in the booth following the perfectly designed offense that blew away CFB in 2020 and couldn’t be stopped with an ordinary QB with small hands that couldn’t cut it at Ohio State who had 5 of the 6 passes
Forgotten is that LSU was in their first year of the new Offense with Burrow as QB. No one sees that Year Two can be even better.
Nobody except Steve Ensminger, the best OC on that list if you count yardage & TDs.

What about at FSU? you see he wasn't even retained by the new HC.
Norvell calls his own plays. Briles wasn’t being retained regardless what happened.
Also it’s very well known that Taggart handcuffed Briles at FSU and wouldn’t let him run his offense as he normally would. Easily seen in the fact that a guy who consistently has been in the top 9 of total plays run nationally every season he’s been an OC clocked in at 45th at FSU. For that reason, FSU fans clamored for Briles to get control all season because they knew Taggart was meddling too much.
Briles did not see the writing on the wall about Taggart! he should have known about Taggart wanted done his way. If so, why didn't he look elsewhere that would not hurt him and ended up at Arkansas! No experience HC wanted to go to Arkansas and take a gambled to rebuild the football program! Briles is in the same situation to start fixing his flawed offense that he couldn't get it going at FSU. He need to start at a school that is in need of a major overhaul on offense and defense.

I saw many saying FSU will suck and yep they did suck! Then Taggart was fired. What was so funny about people saw the same thing what I saw would happened at FSU? I guess if Briles were smart he would have gone elsewhere and now is stuck at Arkansas and would take a while to get an average offense there against bottom half teams in the SEC. Might Briles jump ship or get fired before get any thing good going at Arkansas?

It's just adorable they think Chad will own the playcalling at AU.

Briles didn't do well at FSU!
Can you post the offensive numbers before he got there and the year he was there? That would help in the discussion.

Our offense is much closer to being good than our defense is. At one point last year we were starting 5 true freshmen on offense toward the end of the year. We upgraded at QB and got Rakeem Boyd back at RB who will likely be the 3rd best RB in the SEC, plus now have Pittman coaching the OL.
I expect us to put up a lot more points than we did last year but still think we're 2-3 years away at least from being able to stop anyone on defense.
