This doesn't just apply to GA though.

Less talent than some states like Florida but no competition at all.

Lol wut. Florida has a LOT of talent. But it's understood louisiana has the talented skill players. Just no QB's or OL.

With FSU and Miami to deal with. Whereas LA has had only 1 major program for over 50 years now.

Another Louisiana "advantage" is that Louisiana talent has historically been undervalued, whether due to coaching or what, I don't know.

This leads to quite a few diamonds in the rough that other teams may miss.

All former UGA coaches LIVE in Athens. The college town has to be a big factor here when discussing 'best coaching jobs'

Arch Manning speaks highly of Georgia after recruiting trip in March: 'Athens is the best college town I've been to'

doesn't hurt recruiting either....

I've never really understood this line of reasoning.

Are you saying high school athletes aren't allowed to look at out of state schools? I seem to recall LSU having to compete with Alabama for Louisiana recruits in the past.

The majority of high school recruits usually stay in state if they're offered and if there are relevant schools there.
