Ya, it's actually blue hairs from IL, OH, MN, MI etc.

I don't really even watch TV. I lived in Ft Lauderdale for awhile in HS. It IS a stereotype but it's not entirely untrue, and even when it's not true, it's stil not a "frat" place.

LSU has always had one of the strongest Greek systems in the nation. 21 fraternities, some of whom have been on campus since the 1860's
LSU has thrown the best ones off and only let them come back as shells of their former selves.
How many good fraternities are there right now at LSU? Not many. They are scared shitless of your anti-greek administration.

He transplanted from moving one product in a parking lot to moving another product off a parking lot

I had heard that he was speaking to kid in MS about not making the same mistakes he did...if so, good for him. Is he selling cars now?

Arkansas lost a lot of its frattiness in the 90s. It became a little less cool to be fratty in those days. I remember seeing the student section gradually losing the will to wear blazers, and getting way more laid back.
Its just not that fratty. Fayetteville isn't a real fratty town, and its way more acceptable to be a little weird, hippie, grow a beard, etc.
I had a lot of friends who were in frats at Arkansas who were kind of on the fringe, thought it was meh, but wouldn't really claim it.

Guidos did find that fair city.
I thought this thread was about schools and not states. My bad.
UF as has a huge fraternity membership and is not frat according to the SECR. I don't get it but nor do I really care. I was just curious as why people said UF is not frat. That's all.

Has a drug task force ever raided a house on campus for coke?
UA smokies had our house under surveilance for months for sauce and white bags but would never make a move.
Doesn't hurt that the guy doing the moving was a big member of The Mach.......

Same thing happened to UK in the early 90's. It mostly had to do with campus going dry because of SAE and getting more out of state students from Ohio.

As for Florida, a larger school is less likely to be "fratty". You may have more total members, but there's not a predominance of frat-scene.
In Fayetteville, the frats manage to zero in on 3-4 bars most of the time. But there's like 25 bars right off campus. There's just a lot more going on, and frats are a smaller part of the overall college town scene. Less pressure to join, and not necessary at all to have a good time.
I went one year at a smaller state school with a lot less going on, and being in a frat was almost required if you wanted to have any fun whatsoever. So that school was a lot "frattier".

I think I see what you are saying. 5000 out of our total student population makes it seem less fratty. Is that right?

Yeah. That's right. I think it also has to do with tradition, the town and local culture, too.
