Mett don't play defense.

He's a better QB.

He's 0-1 in Athens. QB ratings and yards are cool and all, but that's the only stat that matters. And you'd be hard pressed to find a single UGA fan who'd trade him for Mett. Because Murray's every bit the QB, and he knows how to keep his hands to himself.

But Mett can take heart, he's not the only former UGA castoff who'll get to taste defeat at the hands of his old teammate this season.

Could have easily been 1-0, he don't play defense or return punts.

He's a better Qb, just accept it and move on.

Nah. Our QB is 1 - 0 against our old QB. I'd rather have that.

No, it's completely irrelevant in determining how good a QB played.

Payton Manning never won a NC, but Tee Martin did.

Peyton Manning never lost to his old teammate either.

Not sure about Payton Manning though.

Maybe he had something to do with that? Checking to the right protection, finding his receivers quickly or checking out of bad plays?

No, LSU D line got no pressure by themselves. That's a credit to your o-line, not Murray.

Fact is, yesterday we saw the best QB play you will see all year from both Murray and Mett. Too bad for LSU that it was in the same game. If you like all that scramble around and throw the ball up for grabs... then you will disagree with me.

Jordan Jefferson is 1-0 in the SECCG
Aaron Murray is 0-2 in the SECCG

Jefferson >>>>> Murray

Pretty clear

And he's 1-0 vs. Zach Fingers.

Right, so long as you can accept Jefferson >>>> Murray based on wins/losses. just using your own criteria here bro

Sorry for being able to run the ball?? And I wouldn't want to compare numbers with the guy who will be the SEC all time leaders in yards and td passes

Maybe Fingers should call him for counseling.

Good of Coach Richt to hug him though.

I dont know how anyone can put McCarron on their level this year, he's been extremely mediocre.

He has had a shite show of a OL, thus far. That was everyone's knock on him last year. "Let's see him perform with a shitty OL and not all world". He has already brought us back against a top 5 team (TAMU) in College Station. Say what you will but the dude has been money for us this year. When he has been able to open it up. (First half of games) He has been on a pretty damn good run.

2 of his INTs this year = WRs fault.

Great debate thread on the second best qb. I take Murray due to who he's beaten

Jefferson is 1 - 0 vs. Murray. Murray's 1 - 0 vs. Fingers. I don't have a time machine, so there's not much I can do but accept it, wouldn't you say?
