How's Mackensie Alexander going to look in maroon and white?

I would hope so considering he's only faced Liberty and Albany.

But state won the SEC tourney last year so that's not really a viable excuse, but E for effort!

How does he look in blue and orange?

Any time someone resorts to saying 'U Mad', it's pretty much them admitting to being willfully stupid. Congrats on that.
Don't forget your name tag when you go to work today.

and Furman, but it's the preseason and who's counting, right?
I know Liberty and Albany were 2nd in their conferences last year. Liberty had over 40 wins. Furman is 2nd in their conference right now. So he's doing pretty good.

ALL TIME
1. Skip Bertman
2. Ray Tanner
3. Everone else
Rod Dedeaux - 10 titles
Auggie Garrido - 5 titles, 2 different schools
Ron Frasier - 3 titles, helped put college baseball "on the map"
Skip should be first or second, but IMO Dedeaux, Garrido and Frasier should be ahead of Tanner (who was a great coach).

There is no preseason in college baseball. All 56 games count. You really should stop displaying your ignorance.

What bait?
Van Horn has top-notch talent, facilities, and stadium, but he consistently blows it.
Yet you have O'Sullivan so high?
DVH is top 2 in the league with PM, and the only reason I put PM above him is because he has a title.

I meant pre SEC season, but "you got me." Good for you!

I have no idea, but does Cohen have the h2h against Bianco while he's at state? If not are you saying its easier to win at other programs than it is at state?

He's won 3 of 4 SEC series against him here. 8 of 10 series overall now. Congrats on taking 5 of 7 during the rebuild though(and still managing to lose one of those SEC series to us).

The most objective rankings I could come up with balancing post-season success, consistency, inherent advantages, and current trends. Legitimate arguments could be made to rank 1-4 then 5-9 in any order.
1) Mainieri (LSU) - Only coach with a CWS Title. 2 CWS appearances at LSU, 1 CWS at Notre Dame. Inherent advantages at LSU with regards to talent and support.
2) Van Horn (Arkansas) - 5 CWS appearances (3 at Arkansas). 14 Straight NCAA appearances (10 at Arkansas). Very consistent. His more talented teams have underachieved.
3) O'Sullivan (Florida) - 3 straight CWS appearances. Runner up in 2011. Elite talent in Florida. 2011-2012 teams were extremely talented.
4) Corbin (Vanderbilt) - 7 straight NCAA appearances (8 out of 10 years). 2011 CWS appearance. 2011 team was ridiculous from a talent standpoint. 2007 collapse still hurts.
5) Serrano (Tennessee) - 2 CWS appearances (UC-Irvine and Cal. St. Fullerton). Elite coach out west. SEC record should trend up.
6) Childress (Tex. A&M) - 1 CWS appearance. 6 straight NCAAs at A&M. All in the Big 12. Should transition well into SEC.
7) Perno (Georgia) - 3 CWS appearances (2008 Runner-up). Perno would be higher with more consistency.
8) Bianco (Ole Miss) - NCAAs in 10 of 12 years. Super Regionals in '05, '06, '07, '09. Just can't get over the CWS hump.
9) Cohen (Miss. St.) - 2 NCAAS at MSU and 2 at KY. Just doesn't have the body of work that the other coaches have. Trending up for sure.
10-14 - Consider this the "Jury is still out" grouping due to a combination of mixed levels of success, lack of head coaching experience, or transition into a new conference. Holbrook and Henderson will probably trend up over the next few years.

I guess Mainieri is number one by default since Tanner retired. I'm not his biggest fan though.
Only one with a championship now in the conference. We (LSU fans) are overly critical of everything baseball because we expect Omaha every year, but any SEC program would be elated to have him as their coach.
