So Bianco is the best coach in the SEC. Interdasting.

Infinity titles as an assistant still don't add up to one as a HC, so no. But he is better than Holbrook.

Get back to me when Cohen loses to Memphis 10+ years into his job.
I know it upsets you that Bianco is an epic underachiever.

1. Paul Mainieri (LSU)

3. Dave van Horn (Arkansas)
4. Tim Corbin (Vanderbilt)
5. John Cohen (Mississippi State)
6. Gary Henderson (Kentucky)
7. David Perno (Georgia)
8. Dave Serrano (Tennessee)
9. John Pawlowski (Auburn)
10. Mitch Gaspard (Alabama)
This list is a lot better than OP's.

Keep qualifying it. Doesn't change the fact that Cohen lost to shitty teams before and will do it again.

I wasn't being serious. No way Bianco or Holbrook are the top coaches in the league.

Oh, and regardless of how many years on the job anyone has or how many years their team has been in the SEC or who lost to Memphis this season, Mitch Gaspard is the worst coach in the SEC.

Without looking at it too hard I would put Bianco somewhere in the top 6 probably. OM just hasn't been the same since McDonald left though.

Are you retarded? Mainieri is the only HC with a CWS title. No matter how much you try to play around with your words, South Carolina's titles belong to Tanner, not Holbrook
Are your jimmies rustled?
Holbrook was the only Asst HC to win a CWS who is now a HC.
Mainieri was a HC who won in 2009.

Acutally I was mistaken, Bainco was an assitant at LSU for 3 titles, so Bianco>Holbrook.
You're right, Bianco was the pitching coach for 3 of LSU's titles. However, I thought that being assistants didn't matter according to you? How many CWS has Bianco even been too since he had any more responsibility other than pitching? (It's 5 total right? All 5 at LSU in the 90's and all as the pitching coach.)
I know that Holbrook has been an assistant or an Asst HC for 6 trips (5 as and Asst HC) to the CWS, with 2 Championships, and what's even more impressive is those 6 trips have come in the past 7 years! So Holbrook is MUCH better than Bianco and it's not even close.
Bianco was a great pitching coach

Holbrook hasn't done shite as a HEAD coach that's what the question was, who gives a frick what he did as an assistant, so he should be thrown to the top just because he is now a head coach?

You don't actually want to continue down this path...lest someone pulls out the head-to-head between these two coaches over a cumulative total of 5 jobs and embarrasses your boy.

No, he isn't dumbass. Bianco won 3 titles as an assistant at LSU.

How many has Holbrook been to?

As a pitching coach...I was clearly stating Asst HC (Head Coach). Why is reading hard for you?

I wrote that in my original post you just copied. Read further.
However, to help you out, I'll state again. He's been to 6 in the past 7 years. That's more than Bianco (who's most recent was 1997....)

Assistant head coach isn't a real thing. There is a head coach, two paid assistants and a volunteer assistant.
Like I said, just because you choose to play around with words doesn't make what you say any less wrong.

Yes, Holbrooks done more/gone farther as an Asst HC than just about all the current HC's. He's the brains and brawn behind all of the recruiting. He's winning now and has been for years.

Assistant HC is a way to justify a raise. Still just an assistant like everyone else. Not that complicated.

We could talk all day about the similarities between Holbrook and Smoke Laval(who actually had HC experience first), but it will fall on deaf ears in Columbia.
It's understandable that they are excited about him, but he hasn't proven anything yet.
