His completion percentage was 10 points higher than the other three guys you compared him to.
And his yards per game was over 50 yards less

Fromm had far better efficiency, but his gross numbers were low so its hard to judge

But Fromm is the better of those qbs IMHO

Mond/Burrow/Franks are interchangeable

Most of them are very similar
Burrow Stats:
2894 Yards
16 Touchdowns to 5 Ints
57% completion percentage

Kellen Mond Stats:
3107 Yards
24 Touchdowns to 9 Ints
57% completion percentage

Jake Fromm Stats:
2761 Yards
30 Touchdowns to 6 Ints
67% completion percentage

Frank's Stats: 2457 Yards
24 Touchdowns to 6 Ints
58 completion percentage

Burrow, Mond, and Frank's are all Dual Threats too, so add:

Burrow:
399 Rushing Yards
7 Touchdowns

Mond:
474 Rushing Yards
7 Touchdowns

Frank's:
350 Rushing Yards
7 Touchdowns

One is not like the other plus he had two 1000 yard rushers behind him.

Do you think that also may have played a part in his high efficiency maybe?

Burrow over Mond is absurd.

2018 stats:

more passing yards? Mond (3100 to 2900)
more rushing yards? Mond (475 to 400)
more TDs? Mond (24 to 16)
higher complete percentage? both had a pedestrian 57%
higher passing rating? Mond (135 to 133)

The only thing Burrow bas better than Mond is that he threw marginally fewer interceptions. According to every other stat, Mond was better than Burrow last year. Those are facts.

(Also...74-72)

Mond, Burrow, Franks, and even Guarantano are all very similar qbs - very average passers/decision-makers but tough SOBs. The difference is Mond and Franks had better offensive coaching masking their deficiencies.

1. Tuna
2. Fromm
3. Burrow (like how he competes and plays the game the way it should. Also not a pussy)
4. Mond
5. Jarret G (underrated. Played well against bama)
6. Kelly Bryant
7. Franks (overrated)

Wait a minute

So 15 yards a game passing, 6 yards a game rushing, and 0.6 more tds a game is considerable

But the stats Burrow leads in dont count because they are too close

That's true. It's also worth noting that Mond was a true Soph last year in his first year in a very complex offense. He has shown flashes of being elite, but has lacked consistency. There is reason to be optimistic about his growth this year.

Also - he is taking the field with 3 WRs who we couldn't keep healthy last year but, when they finally got healthy late in the year, showed signs of being able to take over a game. And while we do lose the TE, we have two young guys who have shown really great promise at TE.

How are you glossing over how many more TD passes the other three QBs have compared to Burrow?

Because I’m not, It’s all right here to you

They are scoring about 0.4-0.6 more tds per game, and burrow is turning it over about 0.1-0.3 less times per game

This is fun on many levels, but mostly because state would kill to have any of OMs last 4 starting QB's and would also kill to have the current one.

For 2018:
1. Tua
2. Fromm
3. Mond
4. Burrow
5. Franks
6. Bentley

I could see Burrow passing Mond this season and closing the gap between him and Fromm.

ETA:Burrow toward the end of the season

Arkansas - 70% completion
UCF, A&M - 60%+
Bama - right above (50%); Tua at 59% that game,

As a runner? sure. As a passer? you're high as a kite. Is he a douche? yep. Common sense? very little.

I'm not being hyperbolic when I say Swag was one of the best college passers I've ever watched. And the only time they went head to head Swag came out on top.
