Name a Bama WR that comes close to his talent

mccarron also has a road grading OL and a heisman contender in the backfield and the BEST defense in the nation to foot. so when was mccarron EVER in a position where he had to win it for Alabama aside from LSU where they lost and he or his offense didn't score a TD?

i am not putting down mccarron but your analysis relies on Murray and Bray losing the games when all mccarron has to ever do is make a few easy throws and hand the damn ball off. no pressure if you didn't score, because you have basically a pro bowl team on the other side helping you out.

Murray had an awful OL, incredibly young yet talented receiving corp, and a true freshman at RB. Bray had no OL, 2 good WRs, and no running game. UGA had a really good defense but not close to bama and UT had a meh defense

so i think your argument is flawed

Carta-Samuels? It'd be news to me, but Rodgers will definitely be pushed this off season. Rumor is CSU QB Pete Thomas will transfer in as well. He'd have to sit out until 2012, but if Franklin is bringing in all of these guys the QB spot you've got to think the starting job is up for grabs.

yea him, my buddy said J Rodgers may be on the way out. not too many details but some of decisions have kinda set him back i think. he said Rodgers may start some but don't be surprised if the wyoming beat him out

2010 Auburn... he blew that one too.
he's a good QB though & I expect the addition of Nussmeier to help.

1. Tyler Wilson
2a. AJ McCarron
2b. Aaron Murray
4. Tyler Bray
5. Zach Mettenberger
6. Connor Shaw
7. James Franklin
8. Jeff Driskell
9. Zach Rodgers
10. Kiehl Frazier
11. Morgan Newton
12. Tyler Russell
13. Barry Brunetti (Bo Wallace)
14. Aggies new QB?

Not that it matters, because position wise, they'll be 12 or 13 at best, but Brunetti will not be starting in 2012 for the Rebels.

Jesus Christ.

Newton didn't even take a snap against your own team. Did you even watch the game?

Ah, I'd heard some tidbits about Rodgers, but haven't gotten anything concrete. I'll dig around and see what I can come up with. Suck to lose him, but we do have some decent options

If Mett is anywhere close to the 5th best qb in the league, LSU will go undefeated again but this time win the NC game.

Book it!
