Kentucky had a sex week a few weeks ago. The slogan was "Sex Week @ UK. It's Coming. RU?" The events ranged from "Sex Toys 101" — a frank seminar about bedroom accessories — to lectures and panel discussions about religions' approaches to sex or ways to teach sex education, as well as belly dancing classes and sensual poetry readings. Most of it was sponsored by Pure Romance, an Ohio-based firm that hosts sex product and education parties at private homes.

My gosh thats Crazy as well. This is another thing that would never happen in Mississippi. The Mississippi Southern Baptist Convention would protest this and make sure that it never happened. Many Mississippi parents wouldnt like the idea of this either.

The city of Fayetteville is super liberal. As is the university. The high school actually has a gay-straight alliance club, and the city also voted in favor of decriminalizing marijuana.

Looks like Petrino has a new selling point for recruiting.

They offer degrees in cross dressing? That's kinda liberal.

Georgia at #2 is WRONG. I'll admit, the townies of Athens are liberal as balls, but this is about the students. Look at the greek enrollment for UGA. Look at the % of blacks (6% [with only 4% being non-athletes]). You may think that's racist or whatever, but it's no secret that blacks are more likely to be liberal than conservative. I've spent the last 6 years of my young life in Athens and I can assure you this town's youth (ie, students) are much more conservative than liberal.

I always got the Impression that Athens was the most Liberal city in the southeast when I visited it, but I see the point that you are saying regarding the student body. I will move them down in my poll.

I don't know about all the other universities, but I'd have to put Bama and Auburn at 1 and 2 respectively. I graduated from LSU last December and thought it was pretty conservative. Of all the political bumper stickers I saw around campus, probably 95% of them were for McCain/Palin as opposed to Obama/Biden.

The only liberals I ever came in contact with at LSU were the liberal arse classmates in my classes. Of course, I was a history major so pretty much 9 out of 10 of my classmates voted for Obama. Sad, really.
