So you're suggesting that I skip that one?
I have back problems tho, so if you have a healthy spine, go for it.

OL
DL
STs
RB
QB
WR/TE
LBs and DBs similar - some good players returning and highly rated new guys but a lot of inexperience

That’s nice and stuff but playcallng was virtually all we complained about.
That is why we play chess while you play checkers.
Playcalling looks good when plays work. Playcalling looks bad when they dont.
The playbook is thicker AND the players are better equipped to execute on Saturdays. That is the end result of our analysts. Chaney and our offense is the beneficiary.

That, and we have really talented players.

QB- Stidham. First time AU has ever returned a starting QB that threw for 3k yards the previous year.
DL- We return our entire DL rotation, but Jeff Holland. Already have a 5* Buck who was working behind Holland and did great, TD Moultry.
WR- all of them return. 1 more year in the system.
HBack- Chandler Cox returns. He played great down the stretch of the regular season but struggled in the postseason
Corners- Jamel Dean and Javaris Davis both graded higher than Carlton Davis last year, but CD obviously has amazing talent. We'll miss his ability to play the run, but our corner spot looks good with starters.
LB- Darrell Williams and Deshaun Davis both return as starters and we have recruited extremely well at the LB position the last 2 cycles. Richard McBryde has looked great in spot work and there are several young guys who should fill in for depth.
RB- Tons of talent, not many experienced carries. Not sure who the workhorse will be. Devan Barrett, Kam Martin, Asa Martin and Jatarvious Whitlow are the guys that I think we'll pick from as the go to RB. Whitlow wow'd in Bowl practices as he RS this yr due to injury. He's a 6', 216 RB and is really dynamic. Barrett, Whitlow and Martin all need to bulk up but are all HR threats.
Kicking- we lose Daniel Carlson, but his brother supposedly has an equal leg. The problem is, it doesn't always go through the uprights yet like Daniel could do it. He'll have to improve his accuracy. At punter we signed a 26 year old Aussie punter who is ranked the #2 punter! Can't wait!
TE- we don't really use a TE
Safety- just no clue what we'll have back there. Could end up starting a frosh (Quindarious Monday) who is an EE along with one of several returning guys who previously played the nickel.

Chaney is good, I was never a true hater simply frustrated at times because we’d be clicking right along then bam some bizarre play that would set us back but I am a bit surprised that making the playbook bigger is working for him- would seem like too many options made the goofy calls even more tempting for him.

This thread is pure gold. We've got a few 7-5 type teams that are described as having multiple units that are 'best in the nation', 'plenty of NFL potential', and 'talented, experience, and deep'.

We lost the best CB in the league.

dean and j davis graded better overall but Carlton definitely had great impact and leadership on the defense.

First of all this is the SEC. there are going to be multiple really good units on most of its 7-5 teams. That shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone.
