If Saban could win that argument he wouldn't have had to sneak this in. He could have won the argument on the merits of it. But the fact is, there are no merits of it. Thus the slimy political attempt to change the rules to suit himself without debate.

Absolutely right. He didn't have the balls to debate it at the coaches conference.

It's hilarious to me how offended and nonchalant BAMA fans are in the HUNH threads.

If it weren't Saban crying and getting beaten by these guys, they'd be calling this rule out as well. fricking hypocrites

How many national titles has the hunh won since its so unstoppable?

That's not the point. The point is Shorty Saban sees the game slipping away from his control freak arse enough to try and backdoor a new rule with no merit whatsoever at this point.

This rule is wrong so many levels. It's just arse backwards. The committee that passed it should almost feel worse than Saban. That commitee needs an overhaul and should be let go of their duties.

I would love to play the style of offense a Bama, LSU, Stanford can play. And really don't care much for the HUNH, but can still see the rule and the way it was ramrodded is just flat out wrong.

Saban's won 4 and many times has gone against the hunh he doesn't need to adjust, he's doing a great job at Alabama.

Then what's he so terrified of? It's not injuries. Sorry man there's just no good way to spin this. He's scared. He's trying to change the game instead of 'the process'. Because he knows he can't teach the meathead robots he makes how to think on their feet and adapt to this new style of offense. Other coaches don't have that problem but he knows he does. It flies in the face of "The Process" and we certainly can't have that.

If Saban and Brent had not said this exact same stuff back in July of 2013, THEN I would call hypocrites.

Which is it? Whining or nonchalant? This could not be going any better, no way. Please continue.

How about this, he nonchalantly whined to the committee. What a fricking pussy.

Him being 'terrified' is you all projecting that on him. His record alone shows he doesn't need this rule change to win national titles.

People are projecting their perceptions onto him.

So he didn't just lose two in a row to fast paced offenses then.

Right?

WhatTF ever. Again. You guys are trying to justify this complaining because BAMA can't stop these offenses. They are built for traditional offenses and saban is doing what he can for them to get a leg up.

If this were any other program, you guys would be ripping everyone a new one. You know it. Bunch of fat guys can't keep up with wide open offenses

This shite has absolutely blow up in Saban's face.

1. He now looks like a pussy.
2. He now looks like a fricking whiner.
3. He now looks like a corrupt SOB doing things that are only advantageous to his type program.

He has been a guilty turd since he took the Alabama job. Rival fans public perception will always be negative towards a winner.

I think Tre Mason and Auburn toasting his D followed up by Oklahoma absolutely waxxing that arse even after Bama had weeks to prepare caused Saban to go full out dumbass to make this happen.

He has had his arse "waxed" many times before.

quote:

Why hasn't he been on radio this week advocating his side? Cause he knows he is flat out wrong after hearing 99% of the rest of the college football world speak against it.

I don't think he's worried about what people are thinking about his championship program.

There you go deflecting.

Saban has done nothing but whine about the fast pace type offenses. You, like any other BAMA fan, are too biased and have your head so far up his arse to see it

He said this same stuff after he won the national championship in 2012 so your argument is just plain wrong about it being the last two losses this year.
