Is this a serious question? No one nationally gives a frick about conference titles. Basketball programs are measured on their success in the NCAA tournament.

he is a troll and doesn't understand college basketball period.

For the long term benefit of the basketball program from one of the top conferences, the longer the team is talked about and it's success is what matters most.

The Elite 8 is one of the main reasons recruits take notice, the amount of PR is incredible..

so, the further you make it in the season towards, and in the Big Dance... the better off you are long standing.

This isn't rocket surgery!

Not going to the Final 4to me means the season was a failure.

SEC Regular season is a meh

SEC Tourney win is a meh

Elite 8 is a meh

Going to a Final 4 is success

Regular season title. And it’s not particularly close for me.

They are nice...but if you don't have success in the NCAA Tournament, then that title does not mean shite.

College basketball is about peaking at the right time...it's in March.

To me, I would rather have a SEC Tourney Championship and a major run in the NCAA then the regular season title. JMHO

I speak from the standpoint of history being what it is. There is a difference between Sweet 16 and Elite 8 but not that big of one for me. And a conference tournament title is fun but not as meaty as a regular season title. I prefer to clamp down dominance on the league if I’m not getting to a Final 4.

Elite 8, no doubt.

The NCAA tourney is what matters and how you are perceived as a program.

Which means nothing if you get bounced early in the tournament.

It's all about March Madness. The season and the conference tourney is just for seeding into the big dance.

We generally just do all 3 each season for good measure. Thankful we don't have to choose.

Depends on the program, I guess. LSU has not won an SEC tourney in my lifetime. That is one I'd like to see. Whereas, UK could careless.

I know most Georgia fans I have spoke to say the national title is nice but they sure wish they could have won the SEC. Lol

Which would you rather have? An SEC regular season title, an SEC tournament title, literally dragging your nuts all over the number one team or making it to the Elite 8? Want to know your thoughts for the new basketball fans..

If those are my only options I guess I choose that one.
