Do they make the playoffs with 1-loss bama and Florida or Georgia.

I don't see how LSU would make the playoff unless they are the SEC Champ. They lose to either UF or UGA and they are out.

If UF and LSU meet. LSU being undefeated UF with one loss.

UF would get in as the SEC Champ, only loss being to a top 3 ranked LSU. LSU wouldn't get a spot with the other teams like OU, Clemson and OSU out there unless one fks up and loses.

It would get even more confusing...If Bama has one loss and close to LSU.

Bama wouldn't have played in their Conf CCG. Other teams would have to lose imo.

The sentiment on this board to root for the max pain for LSU fans above all else should be studied in Psychology classes. ?

Im in no way rooting for it. Im just saying it wouldnt surprise me the way things seem to always happen for them and often times seem to be an even extra dog at lsu.

Depends on who’s left...
your not getting in over a 1-loss or undefeated P-5 champion. It’s never happened and it won’t happen; imo.

The only time 1-Loss P5 champions didn’t get in was the first year .. TCU/Baylor and that’s because tOSU was a 1-loss... so there were 6 teams with 1 loss or less and P5 champs.

Can Clemson get beat twice? Doubtful.
Can OU? prolly not
Can tOSU? Same!
And if Oregon runs the table... they are another in the way.

SEC is playing for 1 spot this year.

People can say all they want about best 4 and it sounds good; when some champs have multiple losses... but look what the committee has done when it hasn’t.

They have never left out an unbeaten champ or a 1 loss undisputed champ.
They have never put a 2 loss champ in over a 1 loss power 5 team.
They have never put in a 2 loss team.

They won’t this year; so for the SEC to get 2; there needs to be chaos.

ETA... also, if somehow the other 4 conferences end up with undefeated or 1 loss champs...and the SEC has a 2 loss champ... uh oh!!!

A 1 loss SEC non-champ has a 0.0% chance to get in over an undefeated Clemson, tOSU, or OU.

Now, if LSU or Bama lose for the first and only time in the SEC title game? Either one gets in over a 1 loss Clemson, tOSU or OU.

Man the more I look at Clemson's schedule the more I think they should be excluded no matter what on principle. It's ridiculous the difference in what they are asked to do vs. what an Auburn or LSU has to go through.

It would only be fitting that LSU beats Bama, loses the sec championship game to FL/UGA and they put Bama in the title game and leave the other 2 out.

If LSU loses, this will absolutely happen.

Any SEC team besides Bammer has zero margin for error.
