Well, it works out if the players think everyone wearing white in the stands is for MSU.

Either way, if LSU fans wear white, your players and their players will think that there aren't any LSU fans.

Stands to reason they would do it to a team that most often wears white jerseys.

I heard, from a source close to the program, we are changing our colors to Navy Blue and Neon Green to combat any potential confusion with Texas AM.

I wouldn't doubt it, Slime prolly told State they woud have to give up Maroon and White to make way for TAMU

Incorrect.

DiNardo brought back the white jerseys and the magic.

Saban brought us the ship though...

I've read on a state site that we are the "whiteout" game for state this year , but state is wearing maroon. How is that a white out?

Was the info wrong, and we being forced to wear purple again instead of our traditional white unis?

You will know when we are worried about playing LSU, and right now we are concentrating on Awbrin

True, but Saban instituted the modern rules of the purple uni.

Saban codified LSU's internal uniform rules but had nothing to do with establishing the white jersey tradition or petitioning and lobbying the NCAA like DiNardo did. It was a big deal in 1995 which is why I still remember it.

After 6 straight losing seasons, we were desperate to bring back the magic.

Thats not a whiteout then. Fans and the team should both wear white. I remember we did a "blueout" a few years back, and the team came out in red. Everyone was like "WTF"?

I don't like out all white or all Maroons. I would prefer Maroon jersey and white pants at home and White jersey and Maroon pants on the road. But I am old so that is probably why I don't like the solids

It depends on the team and the colors. With us, I prefer maroon jersey/white pants, or white jersey/white pants. IMO, the all maroon, or the white jersey/maroon pants are a lil ghetto. So basically, just wear white pants all the time.

Yeah....that's usually not a problem. Even if it were only a handful of coonasses- they'd be noticed...

In 2009, the NCAA relaxed its rule that previously required most away teams to wear white. The rule now states that teams must simply wear contrasting colors

that might be the only positive Lane Kiffin ever contributes to college football

if only more teams would exercise that option.. I'd love to see more color vs. color
